How scary Pointees.
I may have had a heart attack if the same happened to me and unforunatly I have noone around to help in that type of situation. Echo may have come running back in the house though as the other day we had an intruder cat in the back yard and she was a little sook about it only being a brave girl once it was gone and that is when she started barking. I only got scared once I realised there had been someone in the yard going for my dog... I just yelled as soon as I saw him, and thought about it later! My doggies come first as you can tell. |

Pointees, that's a seriously scary situation. Do you think it was one of your 'special' neighbours?

Just had her outside when i was checking my birdies were outside and she didnt bark or pace around the aviary this time. She really thought the aviary was hers when we put it up. Poor girl!
Charlotte is pretty good and protective when it comes to thinking there is an intruder. The amount of times those door knockers have probably wet themselves in fear of my "big aggressive dog" when coming to the door. I often leave just the security door shut for fresh air in the house those people come up our driveway she waits until they get up the steps and when they're about the ring the bell she lets out a REALLY deep bark and doesnt stop until i give the command word settle. She is hilarious sometimes she runs through all the curtains barking Pointees, if you go either in M&M thread or Bird section in Off Topic you'll find the photos |

Pointees, that's a seriously scary situation. Do you think it was one of your 'special' neighbours? We think its the neighbours directly behind us, as there was a 'friend' telling the guy in our yard to "get her" and I could see him walking up and down the fence line. LC! Big arairy, I guess you would need it for those birds. Good idea to make your own toys, although you should have got some at the expo! I got some dog toys, and there were some good bird ones there! Colourful and twirlie for the birds to have fun on. ETA: My friend used to have a gorgeous bird called sunni, I don't know birds, but he was mostly red. Hey Pointees
That sounds super scary I am wondering if I need a sign, either scary dog go away or just no sales people, they are sooo annoying Well anyhow I hope your intruder doesn't come back, do you think it's worth calling the police just in case they have had others like it recently or do you feel okay about it and don't think it will happen again? Take care, CF. |

We called the police a we believe it is the people behind us...
Dexter come here! I'm not looking forward to leaving them locked in crates in the house while I'm at work for 6 to 9 hours Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Although luckily my brother and sister will be home on Saturday so the dogs will get supervised time outside. Poor dogs will go crazy. |
