Well, I'm sure some of you are over shoes by now, but I've booked a party for Friday 20 June at 7:30pm, as some friends and colleagues were keen after seeing my lovely boots!
I think maybe a Turkish Tea Party Theme- I'll even bring out a selection of bellydancing stuff, for those keen to have a play!

Thought I would arrange a DOL meet for new puppy Odin's DOL debut

And cause Cassie is dying to meet him and have another meet

To those that know me and have met me at past meets over the years...Yay! I finally have my own dog to bring!

Invitation to all the out-of-towners who have come up for the shows, as well as the usual suspects!
Please come along for coffee and yummy breakfast choices. Time to meet is 10am. Place is the Groove Cafe in Nightcliff, slap bang in the middle of Nightcliff Market on Progress Drive. Unfortunately, the council prohibits dogs in the area...but bring yourselves and browse the local market stalls too.
Hope to see you there!

Hi all,
Nearly time for Kepala again!!
July 13thFor anyone who does want to come along, there a few things to know:
1. We are going to have fun and let the dogs have fun
2. If your dog is not so good with others, it is ok because there are other runs you can use
3. We want ALL the dogs to have fun, so no humping, fighting etc allowed. And as above there are other runs we can use.
4. The more the merrier
5. Not restricted to DOL members
6. $15.00 PER dog
7. BYO drinks
8. We usually each bring something. I usually bring meat each month, we usually need 2 other people to bring
some meat, 2-3 different salads, some bread and maybe some fruit.
9. I am happy for those who do not bring food to pay $5.00 but i need to know how many are not bringing anything so i can make sure we have enough.
Contact and Location
Kepala Canine Country Club is located next door to Kepala Pet Resort.
We are just off the Calder Hwy, directly opposite the Good Year Thunderdome.
Refer to map below.
Address:
55 Edwards Road, Diggers Rest.
Melways map ref: 3, A1
http://www.kepalak9countryclub.com.au/About%20Us.htmHope to see heaps of you there!
Kristie
PS
No discount for bringing multiple dogs/puppies.
$15 a dog/puppy. Has been this way since we started.
Many people coming bring more than one, a few even bring 3 to 5 and pay the $15 per dog/pup
Personally, i would prefer that no pup under 12 weeks was bought to Kepala due to vaccination protocols - they would be not be covered. If you choose to that is up to you
We have the runs split up, there is one for pups but that is for a group that are all around the same age, other pups can join that are of a similar size.
Just for accidents becasue we all know how easy it is for a growing pup to hurt themselves.
We split the time in the lagoon up, so there are set times for pups and set times for adults.
We use the whole complex and except for the puppy run any area can be used.

WINE AND DOG BISCUIT TASTING - Everyone welcome!
Does your idea of the perfect Saturday involve sipping wine in the Red Hill area while looking out at some beautiful vineyard views? If only you could bring your beloved dog along, it really would be perfect!
This event will not only feature wine tasting for the grown-up humans, but also Purina biscuit tasting for the canines of the group.
You can find out what really makes your dog happy and pleases its palate. You might just end up going home with a few bags - not just a few bottles!
Saturday, 12 July at dog-friendly Tuck's Ridge Winery, 37 Shoreham Road, Red Hill South Victoria 3937, Mel Ref: 256 B2
Meet at the vineyard at 10:30 for doggy play time and dog biscuit tasting. We will then proceed to the cellar door for wine tasting. If you wish you can enjoy a cuppa or even a light lunch at the cafe.
Don't forget to bring lead, collar and stake to tie your dog up. The vineyard has a few stakes we can borrow, but please try to bring your own to make sure we have enough.
Please RSVP (details on website
www.dogsvictoria.com.au/cdc/diary.htm) by 7 July if you'll be joining us so we can make arrangements with the venue.

After postponing our greyhound races night in March, we are pleased to announce it's ON! A group of DOLers is heading out to the race track at Winnellie (next to the showgrounds) on Friday 11 July at 7pm (for 7.30 meeting start).
Come along for the fun!
Have a bet, a drink and a bite to eat while watching beautiful sight-hounds do their thing chasing the pretend bunny. It's a cheap night out, as long as you don't bet the house!

PM me or Carlin's Mum for more details.
See you there!

It's that time again. Newer DOLers in Darwin, why don't you come to Groove cafe in Nightcliff this Sunday at 10am? You'll get to meet some fabulous dog-loving people and share stories of four-legged friends, network with people who share your interests and find out more about the "dog world" here in Darwin.
Don't be shy - we are a friendly bunch!

See you for coffee and for late-risers, breakfast is always available too!
