If anyone has anything specific they would like covered, let me know. Have a look at the Canberra and Sydney flyers and let me know if there is anything different you would like and i will see what i can do.

You guys will just love Underdog!!!

You will walk away enthused, positive and desperate to do more training with your dog (oh and you'll fall in love with all their dogs and have a teeny-tiny crush on Stuart & Tamara wink.gif laugh.gif )

Without having looked at the flyers i would really like to learn about training in drive with a toy. I think Bom might be a good candidate for it but i have no idea how to put it into practice.

Also i'd love to hear about temperament testing, not for rescues as such ( although that intrigues me) but how to put it into practice when choosing a puppy or rescue dog. What to look for as an owner. Does that make sense? confused.gif

I am really interested in learning about body language and how they think, why they do things etc. smile.gif I will go and check the flyers later. thumbsup1.gif

Most of the things you mentioned are included, may try to squeeze in the picking a puppy part, although i think there are a few indirect things that relate to it in the seminars. Other suggestions welcome

What Melbomb said smile.gif Maybe also dealing with dominant dogs (to other dogs), pack structures in the household, body language e.t.c would be awesome as well (I hope that makes some sense embarrass.gif)

Pack structure and multi dog households are definitely covered in the Behaviour and psychology seminar smile.gif The prac handling workshop is the best opportunity for body language and training demos- just have to get those attending to bring dogs that display a range of behaviours.

Oh Yay!! Marks diary and makes note to have mothers birthday on the evening of the 6th...

Not sure if this the type of thing you cover Cosmolo, but I would very much like some help with training very needy, 'in your face' rescue dogs...

Really looking forward to this...

Cheers,

Everyone has great ideas. Not sure if this is done or not (I used up my Internet and now its dial up speed for another week so I didn't get to look at the flyers, mind you Cosmolo, can you put a link to those flyers on this thread?) ...

... but I would like to know if you want to be a rescue fosterer, what kind of set up do you need, how do you introduce foster dogs to your current dogs, how you go about advertising the foster dog (if this is required), how do you judge whether a potential owner will suit the foster dogs, temp testing etc.
