Hi Guys-
This is the Jan thread, i'm just updating it to let everyone know that the next one is Feb 14th. So, for those who haven't been, ground rules are as follows: 1. We are going to have fun and let the dogs have fun 2. If your dog is not so good with others, it is ok because there are other runs you can use, but you do need to let us know 3. We want ALL the dogs to have fun, so no humping, fighting etc allowed. And as above there are other runs we can use. 4. The more the merrier 5. Not restricted to DOL members 6. $15.00 PER dog 7. BYO drinks 8. We usually each bring something, and will do a bit of a post around just prior so that we don't end up with chicken wings and nothing else!LOL 9. If brining a plate is a bit much, you can instead contribute and extra $5.00 but i need to know how many are not bringing anything so i can make sure we have enough. Cost is $15 a dog/puppy. Has been this way since we started. (sorry, no discount for bringing multiple dogs/puppies We have use of the runs, which includes a sand run etc, as well as the outside pool (lagoon pool). The pool is booked for us from 11am - 2.30pm. We also get the use of the BBQ's for free cause they like us so much Contact and Location Kepala Canine Country Club is located next door to Kepala Pet Resort. We are just off the Calder Hwy, directly opposite the Good Year Thunderdome. Refer to map below. Address: 55 Edwards Road, Diggers Rest. Melways map ref: 3, A1 http://www.kepalak9countryclub.com.au/About%20Us.htm Hope to see heaps of you there! For any further information please contact Lappiemum (or one of the other regular kepala groupies!) This post has been edited by lappiemum: 19th Jan 2010 - 02:57 PM |

Should be there too. I've just bought Bronte a new car, but unfortunately I probably won't have it in time to make this Kepala trip. Looks like the current one will have to just survive one more slobbery trip to Kepala.

Soon just between the 5 of us we will be able to cover the number of dogs that need to turn up each time with all the new dogs people are getting.

I really hope I can attend this meet up with 2 of my Lab girls! Henrietta would love the swimming but recently had orthopeadic surgey so I will have to see how she is in 10 days (which will be 2 months post surgery and she should be ready to go!
If not I will have to attend the Feb meet up! |

So much for 8 days.
The GSP boy is here, and is coming to Kepala. Of course, not sure on his recall, but Kepala is enclosed, and he is friendly with people and dogs, so all good. April and Alexis love him. |

April and Alexis love him. Coolness. Not sure if we shall be brining Ms Princess Sohvi, she's about 10 and half weeks so yet to have her final needles. We could put her in the puppy pen and keep her with us, but she's very good at scaling puppy pen walls now...LOL! May have to wait until Feb Kepala for Sohvi zoomies Food wise, I'll do up kebabs and bring sausages. May also bring some yummy dessert thing if needed. So- Lappiemum - kebabs, sausages, tomato & BBQ sauce (maybe some sweeties). |
