QUOTE (Mina @ 8th Feb 2010 - 12:54 PM) *
Mastiff and bubs

We would be happy to take on the mum once all the pups are weaned off her. We are not set up to rear puppies and have always said that and do not have any expertise with rearing puppies.

If someone else is willing to take on the pups, pls let us know

We are happy to help if needed...

It has been a full on three days (to say the least) to gather all the info, photos & notes.

The thread is updated. The pound is very full & these dogs need all the help they can get tonight...

There is a special plea for Tyson the Red Cattle male. The reason given for his surrender is that he is too loyal. One of the things that stood out when I met this fellow was his loyal, people focussed personality.

Little Pippin's friend Millie, was adopted from the pound today & Pippin is beside himself. Pippin was surrendered with Millie. It's ironic, both were surrenderd together as Millie barked. Millie has been adopted today with full disclosure re the reson for surrender & Pippin remains in urgent need. Pippin was happy for me to pat him & hold him after his friend left. Pippin needs a home environment, as the kennel environment is very disturbing for him. Staff are also making a special plea for Pippin.

Swaggy has been a delight at Hawkesbury. Swaggy is your typical quiet achiever with an enormous amount to offer, volunteers have made a special plea for Swaggy.

They are all a great bunch. If you are able to help these needies in any way it will be greatly appreciated.

Great News for Brandy & her bub's Mina & Nina smile.gif Ann @ Hawkesbury would love to hear from you, Thank you.

Breaks your heart to see them seperated....so I just hope they both make it in the end.

HCC 85 Lab female 5 yearsON PTS LIST TUES AM
This girl is in a disgraceful condition as you can see by the photos. Her eyes, ears & skin all need treatment desperately. She was very strong on lead & did a lot of exciteable jumping up. She did respond to correction & settled after a while. She is a high energy dog but was happy to be handled to have her eyes cleaned. Vickie.

Bloody disgusting - happy to offer a donation to help with treatment for this girl for a rescue that takes her on. Just pm me.

Pippin can come to me. I will need help getting him to Canberra though so if someone was able to look after him in the short term till transport can be arranged, that would help a lot.

Another desperate bump for tonight.

I am so taken with Meg & Cash. They are both such wrigglebums with so much to offer.

Great news about Pippin, poor little bugger, he looked so miserable today crying.gif . He's going to need a massive diet. He's like a keg on legs!

Have any of the lab rescues been contacted about the lab girl? She sounds like a typical good natured lab that has had no training.

Bumping just a few of those listed for tomorrow am;

Tyson, a stunning fellow who sits, shakes hands, drops & loves a ball. A loyal, people focussed fellow.

Mr Cash who has won over all of the staff & volunteers.

Miss Meg, a standout girl

Sandy a well mannered & brave little girl.
