Just received a phone call at 11.00pm tonight. A lady asked me if I am Nancy who breeds miniature poodles, I said yes why are you ringing me at this hour of the night for. She goes sorry but its important.
She said did you sell a white dog a while ago to Queensland by the name of Leo, I said yes I did. She said I have his paperwork, I rescued a heap of breeds from Queensland including your Leo. I said who did you buy him off? She said the person name who I cant mention. Any breeders are welcome to pm me, these ppl also sell their dogs on petlink like they are a piece of meat. Just got off the phone to the lady I sold him to and asked why did she sell to these ppl and say nothing to me. She said at the time Leo kept climbing fences and getting into her young bitchs so he had to go. I said why was he not desexed then if he was a problem, she said I was conned by these ppl she is sending me an email tomorrow of what they sent her. Not that it really matters what the emails says as i said to her she should have desexed him when giving him away or let me know and I would have taken him back. Apparantly my dog was used to crossbreed Im in so much tears right now, these are the pics that have just been sent to me. He is full of ticks, worms and is a bag of bones. Not sure if Im making sense through my tears. Right now all I can do it hate people. Just been informed that all the original pics arent to be used for publicity. Anyone wanting to have pics from the time Leo was at the vet I have Ambervales permission as she has revoked all copywrite. Sorry for the inconvenience as I was unaware.

F#$k Im so angry at myself. This is going back around 6 yrs ago and I was so stupid and uninformed back then. Didnt think of these things happening although I asked to get the dogs desexed.
I know I didnt do this to Leo, but feel like I did anyway, had I have desexed him first this never would have happened. I am rehoming two of my adult bitchs, thank god they have been desexed before leaving. |

oh my god Siv. I am so sorry!! Is there anything we can do? This lady that has rescued him and all the other dogs is looking after them atm, and desexing everything. She said she is having trouble getting the ticks off them. The sore on Leos eye is due to tick bites she says. I have emailed the lady back to see if she needs some funds to pay for the dogs upkeep. I will help in anyway I can. Oh and she said she saved 30 something dogs and had to pay $1,200.00 just to get them all. |

Poor Leo! What a terrible thing to do to him! I hope these people, whoever they are, are going to be prosecuted for cruelty and neglect.

email from the lady I sold to
HI Nancy Thank you for sending the pictures. I am horrified. My husband thought that he looked quite well fed when he saw him a few weeks after we gave them away to those creatures. I don't know what happened, but they were certainly out to make a quick dollar. I have attached the email they sent us and they arrived with the car full of kids, no other dogs in site and we were conned. We had absolutely no idea there was anything wrong about them, and we were quite happy to give them another male dog (as company for Leo) and we had no inkling until I saw their ad the next night on Petlink. After I put something on Petlink about them myself, then lots of people contacted us and said they had done the wrong thing to them as well. Unfortunately they use lots and lots of different email addresses when they advertise but they always say they are in south east queensland and their ads are usually full of spelling and grammar errors. I am just as devastated as you. I am really sorry but we honestly had no idea that they those sort of people. Please let me know if you can't open the attachment as I'll try to send it another way. Email from the scammers. Less email addy and last name Chances Im to late to enquire about your little boy but just in case you do still have him my family would love to give him a home with cuddles galore as there are four children and another on the way, we live on an 80acre farm with dams for swimming etc and plenty of room to run around, our house is large with ten bedrooms and two lounges for a doggie to jump all over, so if this sounds like the kind of home he might like to goto these are our details: Fred and Sonja P.S: attached is a picture of our kids at Xmas. |
