  7. Thank you so much everyone for your kidness and support, it is very much appreciated. This beautiful girl deserved to be loved her entire life but at least it happened towards the end and she died knowing one of the most basic thing in life, that she was truly loved  Again thank you!! 8. This is beautiful tribute to such a beautiful soul. RIP sweet baby Bon Bon Thank you K9 Angel for this and for the kindess shown to Bonnie. Thank you for every one on this post that send words of encouragement to her and who supported this amazing little girl. At least at the end of her life she knew what it was like to be cared about and REALLY loved. Judy
  9. For those who remember Bonnie. It was such a sad day. I had to say goodbye to my beautiful foster baby, dear old sweet Bonnie girl. In December 2010 she was dumped at Blacktown Pound so old, so underweight, so matted and riddled with fleas. I brought her home up in the Country and took her to my lovely vet where it was established that she had cancer and it was expected that she only had maybe 6 months. 18 months later she had put on 10 kilos and had the most beautiful coat. She was a truly beautiful gentle soul who was so happy here where she was loved, looked after and everywhere I went she was right behind me. She would have followed me to the end of the earth and on some of our walks I think she must have thought I had taken her there. I can still hear her stressed barking every time I went out or she could not find me and she would come running trying to be the 1st to greet me when I came home. RIP sweet Bonnie girl, you are missed so very much. Your ashes will be here soon and then you will be back in the home that you so loved and where you so belonged. Love you Bon Bon . Thank you Rach for the parcels of goodies that you sent to this sweet girl, she enjoyed every morsel :D Judy

  13. Well Miss Bonnie has decided that there are only 2 things in life worth eating. In no particular order..... BBQ chicken and Smackoos Picture of her meals these days
  14. Thanks for all the hugs, Bonnie is smiling even if her head is a little lopsided. She is eating but not very much, just sleeping lots
  15. Although its not real good news at least she is still here and she had several slices of cheese and devon so she is eating, drinking and doing her business. She is now sound asleep on the floor here in the study, she really is one amazing girl and I her to pieces. Gentle hugs given and smile received back so thank you K9angel Keep those , she needs all the help she can get now.
  16. Bonnie woke up from a nana nap and her legs were sliding all over the place and she head was swaying from side to side. I picked her up and carried her outside off the timber floors hoping that she would get better grip on the solid floor. I stayed with her for ages and she settled down a bit so I laid her down and continued on with getting the others their tea. Next thing she is in the kitchen so I gave her some treats and she seemed reasonably OK, still nowhere near normal but at least she had negotiated the doggy door and the timber floor down to the kithcen. Next thing she is in my bedroom on one of the covers so I gave her her tea there but she did not seem to be able to find the food . I took her to the vets yesterday by which time her head had stopped moving from side to side, it was just on an angle and her walking was still unsteady but so much better. I vet said that she had had a central nervous situation and sometimes the body moves past this and gets back to a place that is not as she was before the incident but an improved version of the aftermath of the incident. The cancer is huge She has had an injection for the pain including coristone to relieve the inflammation. She still has problems getting food into her mouth so I open her mouth and put it in and sometimes she gets the idea, other times she drops it out of her mouth and walkaway so I am like some stalker following her around trying to shove food in her mouth. She needs to know where I am and sticks pretty close. It seems like a million years ago but it was only on Wednesday morning that the guys putting the fences up had the gates open and Bonnie wandered down to the bottom of the area and out the bloody gate. So there is me and the other Collies all chasing her, I get her to turn her around to head back into the yard and she find the other gate open so she heads down that way to say hello to the guys and see if they have any food for her. I am following her calling her name and then she had 3 big burly men trying to round her up, it was typical Bonnie as she had us all laughing. She has put on 9 kilos since December, some of this is the cancer but she has such a good covering on her ribs and her coat is magnificent. The vet was so impressed at how good her condition is considering the cancer but then this is Bonnie and she likes to surprise us all. I know it is only the 2nd morning but I so miss opening up the blinds and seeing her playing with Maddie and Angus, her jumping around and trying to bit their ears and legs. She is better today so paws x'd that she continues to fight this and we have more time with this beautiful girl :)
  17. Here is a pic of her when we had snow here just some 12 days ago, she was out there with the rest of the Collies. This is just the start of the snow and she has it on her face. She is so beautiful
  18. Despite the odds Bonnie is still going. She has masses of tumours in her abdomen now but it has not affected her at all yet. She is still eating so well, wandering around in her own little world, in fact several times she has wandered into the bush and I have had to chase her and shout at the top of my voice to get her attention and she turns and looks at me like 'what's your problem I know where I am' and then looks around and thinks 'how did I get down here' and slowly meanders back to the house. She is here in the study with me now with her jacket on that I am not allowed to take off her otherwise she follows me constantly until I put it back on and then she wanders off, she is such a funny little thing. The cancer is growing but she is not giving into it and is still the very independent Miss who will still have a go at them if they run into her when they are playing or worse still if they get on her bed, she stands and stares at them until they move, no matter how long it takes
  19. I just read this thread from start to finish and I'm gobsmacked at the lengths people will go to for no apparent reason. I saw 'Catfish' a week or so ago and yes, this woman is very reminiscent of the one in the doco. That's the part I just don't get is what they can possibly get out of this and to think they continue to do it. Need to watch 'Catfish' I think.
  20. So I emailed her back and such, we haven't had too much interest in Smokey, so this all seemed a go ahead and like this lady was very interested in giving Smokey a wonderful loving forever home.. Emails back and forth over the past few days, made her seem really legit. The current email she has been using to contact me is: [email protected] - doing my own search on that and finding absolutely nothing should have been my first clue. I sent her a couple more pics of Smokey and even a video I did of the cats and she seemed so excited and sure that Smokey was definitely the one for them and their other cat "cena". I was happy to think that maybe Smokey had finally found his forever home. We found out that there were no available flights from here to Forster, so we started looking around for other travel arrangements, i.e by road. This is when I realised these people weren't who they said they were... I call this; "A God Thing" When I checked my email Monday night, I had a FWD quote from a company called "Dog Movers". I had never heard of Dog Movers so it was really confusing because it said it was from a "Steve H" email: [email protected]. And it had an attached inquiry email below the quote from a "Narrelle Hiley". This got me thinking, who was this Narrelle lady? as I'd been contacted by a "Jess". Tuesday morning I decided to do a search for a Narrelle Hiley, and found her on facebook, found groups she had written on walls on facebook, and most importantly I found a very interesting and informative thread here! This thread!! Thank goodness I found the link to this thread otherwise I would not know what I do about these people now. Every piece of information she had told me in her emails matched up with what she'd told others here. This information NEEDS to be spread so that other rescue organisations and adoption groups, breeders and so on can be made aware of these people, and others like them. PLEASE be careful and fully research the people (unless you know them, or know of them) before you send these little furr-babies off to these homes. So when I put all the pieces together, largely from the information I found right here, I made another post here letting everyone know that these people were up to their old tricks again. Its sad.. no idea what kind of kick they get from doing this?? Another alias...Jess. These people are sick sick sick :mad
  21. Please be careful as these people Narelle and Steve Hiley have been trying to get animals off rescue group again and only in the last week or so. They are up to their old tricks again, just wish I could work out what they get from this...
