  1. I have a brand new autofill with all the bells and whistles from Perfect Paws at my house if you'd like to come and see it (also have one of the little round ones for small dogs). We are about 20mins west of Ipswich in a little place called Thagoona. You (or anyone for that matter) are WELCOME to come and check it out ... in fact I would encourage it ... it's high quality workmanship plus my hubby knows all about it and can show/explain to you everything you'll need to know about the baths. You can PM me (or email) for our address if you're interested. Cheers Sharen
  2. You are correct. The fella that started Perfect Paws is the fella who has just run Hydrobaths Australia into the ground. He brought in a business partner for Perfect Paws - then convinced him to shell out some more $$$ and they BOTH bought Conmurra which was changed to Hydrobaths Australia the day of settlement (how do I know this?? I was physically there) Perfect Paws is now wholy owned by the business partner who was burnt in the deal and HA is/was the responsibility of ... *the man I am not allowed to name* Perfect Paws is in great hands, a VERY responsible, ETHICAL, reliable Boarding Kennel Owner (ask Bommy her dogs are there now) who breeds, shows and LOVES their dogs (unlike Mr One Dog wonder) and the new bath they are producing over in WA is freeking fantastic in both quality & innovation. Please don't let the actions of *he who shall not be named* be held against Perfect Paws as he has nothing to do with the operations of that business and hasn't done for some months now.
  3. PM has been sent Poodlemum and my OH was at the Expo in Melbourne too ... he took a picture of the setup with his phone and sent it to me ... how could you MISS IT???? absolutely terrifiing !!
  4. It was the same setup as the one WE did in Brisbane last year .. except I think there fibreglass ramps & that ugly looking, wet dog on the enormous poster ... Website is a template found on the net and some company in WA were doing all the work.
  5. Lying Slimball !! Oh Yeah .... I am so sorry for those who have been caught up (we were actually suppose to be 'friends' with the snake so I feel even stupider - is that such a word? hahahaha) Fingers crossed you're off the hook with the finance company - I had personally thought that it 'should' be the case - they should be out of pocket not you - but not knowing the legalities of this kind of thing I didn't want to add unfounded opinions. I think the PIAA Melbourne Trade Expo was a last ditch attempt ....... clearly didn't pay off for them.
  6. Hey Darl I posted a copy of the Administrators Sale advertisement in the General Section - give them a call and be strong, demand the product you ordered & paid for via the finance company. Surely they can do something - dont' take it laying down will you ... Good Luck !!
  7. Yes I own one and Yes I've dealth with the current owner BUT I am not allowed to give my opinion publicly so good luck with your purchase.
  8. Are you buying your bath from Marshall at Perfect Paws?? OR Jose` from Hydrobaths Australia?? BIG difference... they are NOT the same company or the same baths so don't confuse the 2. In answer to the OP, it's my opinion that if there is a chance you'd run your bath dry then YES it's worth the extra $$ .... however we've been using our Autofill for just over 6yrs now without protection and have never had the need for it BUT having said that - for some, it is a definate necessity.
  9. What area of Brisbane are you in?? PM as I'm usually at work and don't have access to DOL ... I will get an email when home if you send a PM and know a couple of good ones but not sure if they are local to you or not.
  10. We feed our dogs Royal Canin and a few years ago now my OH worked just as a demonstrator for RC and knows the QLD Rep fairly well, he is also very big on his commercial food research so if you visit our website and send a contact email from there it will go to his computer. He won't post here but would be happy to offer advice and help point you in the right directions for further questions you may have.
  11. Hey Kristie Not sure myself what advice to offer - IF however, it makes you feel any better LeLou is going through what appears to be a similar thing but only started a few days ago - coinciding with some dirty big pig hunting dogs returning to the property next door - they were there for a few weeks and then disappeared - are now back ... bugger (don't know what breed they are but their owners very proudly boast these guys occupation, oh and the owners of the dogs are just staying with our neighbours). She jumps at her own shadow and if one of the other dogs are in trouble we have bucklies of her coming near us but she doesn't sound as upset as Hunta ... Clare however is her normal 500% in your face little girl. I have emailled a couple of people OS I know with this breed to see if it is something within the breed as we've only ever experienced behaviour like this in a Siberian we once owned who was coming into season. Hamiltons typically don't come into season for the first time till around 12-14mths of age but hey, these 2 girls might be going to make liers of us all?? Could also be that something has spooked her whilst you were not at home??
  12. Have to add my 2cents We currently feed Royal Canin and have used Nutro in the past as well. BOTH these foods we have found to be fantastic and when costed out have been reasonably priced.
  13. Hey Husky87 You could always use a good hydrobath/blow dry as an excuse to come and visit the Hamilton babies  there's a perfectly good bath sitting in the shed
