Calling all carers of dogs rescued from Charmhaven(Wyong) Pound.

I miss seeing all of those gorgeous faces when they go off to their rescuers. Post your rescues who are looking for their forever homes with updated info, pics and petrescue links etc.

Sonia rescued this boy and now he has found his Nirvanna. Lucky Buddy, an 'oldie' triumph.

He is now a treasured man and has made some huge strides with his confidence and willingness to be part of the household - on the inside!

So Charmhaven = Wyong ? I was there today  .

At this rate, I will be familiar with just about every pound in a 100 mile radius of Sydney.

Love Sonia.

Oh and the funny looking Pei dog ain't too bad either  :cheer:

You nuts or somepink?

Actually, I can really relate. In the dim distant past when I was a volunteer walker at Burwood Pound, when I heard that dogs had been homed from there, I would go into panic mode, hoping they were happy, did they go to a good home, were the being looked after properly, etc etc. I still have huge discs of photos of most of the dogs from over a 5 year period.

Mimi and Lewis - Cocker X pair - 12 1/2 years old
Senior Pair - Mimi and Lewis are a pair of truly lovely dogs. They are happy, playful, nicely socialised and in such good condition it's hard to believe their age.
Lewis just loves his toys, squeaky toys, balls or whatever he is out for fun and games.
Mimi has been a mum and is a little quieter, but both like space to move in.
As they are active they need plenty of exercise and maybe even an acreage would suit them.
Both are great with little dogs and cats and are house trained.
As they are used to being inside too, they should be given that opprotunity as often as possible.
Their coats are smooth and shiny.
They must be rehomed together.

Jackson - Pomeranian - Male - 9 years
Senior Dog - Jackson has recently come into care but already we know he is a dear little man, so well behaved and loving.
He has been nicely socialised and would be a great little man to add to a loving home.
He is perfectly house trained, good with other dogs and cats and quite gentle.
He is a little sensitive and needs a home where he will be treated gently and be allowed to be close.
He is obedient with not a nasty bone in his body.

Tyson - Foxie - Male - 8 years
Senior Dog - Tyson - Is a lovely man, sadly his owner had a stroke and had to surrender both of his dogs no longer able to care for them.

The other boy was adopted but Tyson is still waiting.

He is house trained and a gentle boy who has lived closely with his master and really needs a new one to love.

I must say that Jacksons nature is just as devine as his looks. He really is a special little boy.

Hi Gillbear,

Jacob is settling in here well! Wasn't fazed by seven other dogs, suffered the indignity of a bath with grace and ate a good dinner before curling up on the couch between OH and I to watch TV for the evening LoL

Peibe rang me and I sounded dopey as I was half asleep with a warm Jacob draped across my lap :cheer:

Settled in the puppy room for the night after a bit of whinging until 2am when I let him out for a wee. He came back in, hopped up on the couch and looked at me as if to say I'll be ok here thank you so there I left him with the Newf's and George in the family room as happy as Larry :)

He's a very people orientated boy and loves cuddles :cheer:

Aww, he is such a sweetie.

I am so glad that he has found his way to his family (Peibe and his DOL family). Things are looking up for jacob now
