He does ok on his own after a while so I think he'll be ok unfortunately I found a fruit tree out the back not sure if it's plums or nectarines... Going to have to watch it closely

The fruit type doesn't matter - it's the stones in the fruit which can cause trouble when swallowed.

Yeah very worried about him with the fruit, so I think I might cut the tree right back or put some sort of makeshift fence around it...

fence it.. or , put him indoors, and pick/knock off fruit before it ripens/falls. put sheets/tarps on the ground, then tip in bin. Done! ... and good excercise for us poor humans . I'm busy raking up excess plums at present .

Mmmm good idea, ill take them off the tree tomorrow. If i start now I should be able to keep it fairly well under control

what a gorgeous puppy!!

please be very careful yanking rocks or fallen fruit out of his mouth. if you continue to do that he will think the rocks/fruit are high value and not want you to get them, and will resort to swallowing them so you cant steal them from his mouth. Please do a swap, have treats on you at all times or nearby, when you see him holding a rock/fruit hold a treat in front of his nose say give, take the rock give him treat/s also dont make it a big deal

I think i encouraged my puppies poo eating habit by mistakenly yanking some out of her mouth once, now when we go out she tries to guzzle it down (i think im slowly fixing the habit now)


sorry just had to say that, would hate for him to swallow rocks and get blockages

cute baby!! which breeder did u get him from?? i live close by but cant think of who he would be from??

also i read that the breeder had him on proplan but u have moved him on to Supercoat?? dont want to say more negitive things as i knwo when u get a puppy everyone will tell u how to raise it lol however i would STRONGLY recommened having him on pro plan... supercoat is a supermarket food and while it is cheap per KG it is not a high quality food

He came from cockatoo, I live in Ballarat but got him from down there as my mum lives up that way.
