I was trying to wait for someone else to start this thread, I feel strange starting it but I'm so keen to show my girl off now I have her official name!!

Introducing Neilros Jaznala "Nala". She's currently 10 weeks old and our first show is the Australia Day long weekend (the Dorrigo/Bonville show at Coramba)

her at 7 weeks

Ohhh are they lappies? Good luck with making a decision, I had enough trouble when the breeder asked me to choose my preferences!

Yep, Lappy babies :) I am good friends with the breeder so have been going for weekly visits - at this stage I really don't know which girl will come home for me at New Year!

A promising start! I love whippy faces, my workmates have 4 between them and they are the most soulful looking dogs.

I've been practicing Nala's stacking a lot more lately, and she's picking it up very quickly. I didn't start with Cleo until she was 5 or so months old, so it's all new to me with a baby puppy. She's got so much 'tude though, she's going to be a perfect little show diva!

Oh dog I wish Cedro would stop being an arse and get stacking. He walks really nicely but just wont stand, no treat or toys will entice him. Im just hoping its just a puppy stage. He is 4 1/2 so only a baby really but he will have to learn soon!

Looks like 2014 will be a great year :)

I have two 5 1/2 month old rising stars in the ring from my first litter. One is my adorable Kite, Astrelis Dawn Flyer, she is very fun to show but a bit naughty.

The other one is her brother Butch, Astrelis Dawn Raider, owned and shown by my friend Claire. Butch has had a fantastic start to his career taking out 8 Baby in Groups and 1 Baby in Show (Open & Ch Shows).

Wow, I love Brittanys and I have met one in real life! Another breed that I love but I don't know if I could handle a working breed. That said, if I knew as much about dallies as I know now I wouldn't have thought I would be the right owner and here I am now!

Nala is 13 weeks now, 1 month to go until our first show. When I put this photo up on FB the breeder commented and it really made my day (or week, or month) she said she was proud of us :D

I guess my boy is still my rising star! Into puppy in 2014, he was awarded quite a few 2nd's in sweepstakes, a 3rd and was also awarded 3 baby puppy in groups and 4 minor in groups. Has amassed 62 points in 2 months of being able to obtain CC's and I'm very excited about showing him in 2014! Our first homebred baby :)

Asalei Finders Keepers - Bo (8 months)

It's not his best photo, hopefully we can get a better one of him in the new year.

I had a great first show with Nala today, she got Best Baby in group :) totally stoked, she did really well even though she was a bit nervous around the mouth (class judge wasn't the most gentle) she still strutted her stuff well. Got some lovely advice from our Staffordshire terrier neighbours to help with that nervousness - can't wait to see how she does in the next 3 days! Now if I could just shake my nerves!!

Thank you :D I am soooo happy with her, she's everything I dreamt of and more. We had a slightly less good day today, she was a bit nervous of the judge around her head, but the judge was so nice and gentle with her, I was really pleased. She got baby of breed today, knocked out of group by a Lhasa.
