Airedaler Posted February 9, 2015 Share Posted February 9, 2015 A dog match is more a social/informal event. Often run between two breed clubs. There are no official awards or prizes (in ANKC terms) and any wins do not count toward any title. A good event for newer exhibitors to learn the finer points of handling and for more experienced ones to hone their skills or to introduce a new puppy or dog to the ring.
