I have always had Stafford girls only. At the moment I have an 18mth old, who is a complete delight with very healthy skin and coat! I just found out the breeder she is from had another litter which will be the last from these parents.
I have had boys of other breeds and have found that I just tend to get more out of female dogs training-wise, however I've never had a male Stafford.
My first impulse is to get another girl although I know there is a HUGE risk in having 2 girls and particularly so close in age. In the past I've had 2 bossy bull-breed girls live together without issue, but there has always been a male dog or two present to 'mix up the rules' and ease the tension. However I am acutely aware that this would not be the case into the future as I have decided that personally my maximum is 2 dogs.
But anyway....it's just a very far-fetched daydream at this stage.
