He was so agro last night after the vet put a bucket on his head. He was growling at everyone. And this morning the asistant tried to give him an injection and he got a little angry. Hehe, he was like "dont you touch me with that thing grrrrrr" . As soon as she put it away he was all play full again. Im picking him up after lunch, so ill let you all know how it went.

thanks for the reply. From what i read it looks like one, but its actuall on his right cheek and its the size of my palm. Maybe its something else like an allergy like you said. Well, i hope the vet can help because it really has affected him :D .

Just wanted to see if anybody is aware of dogs having what they call hot spots? My alaskin mali has a big balled spot on his face, no hair and its just skin. Really yucky looking with fluid. It was bleeding at first, now its not but it does not look good :D . He has become really sad and just unhappy. Poor Tino I have just booked him for a vet appointment after work today. I thought it would just fix it self but he just cant stop scratching it, so i called the vet and booked him in. Hope he will be ok. Does anyone have any thought about this? Or know about it? Im just really worried now.

Highly imtelligent dogs are harder to train. eg they think for them selves, they want something thats is in it for them, they are a thinking dog, and independent. Some people think that this type of dog is just dumb, hehe, think agian because they got you right where they want you. Kind of like a cat. You tell a cat to sit, he will be like "yeah whatever, now just give me food you idiot human" and just stare at you. Cats are switched on, so emagine your dog was like that, and big, he would be out of control ;)

that is awesome. I got an alaskin mali and he is super hyper, like un-controlable around other dogs and paople. But is slowely lerning.

I beleive so Been keeping an eye on him and watching for it today, and he didnt cough once. I havent had him in the house today. Thats so strange. Maybe its not kennal cough ey Hope not

Im having that problem also and i am trying that method where i just stop dead in my tracks, he waits, then we move off again, and sometimes i do a 180 turn and make him follow. I have just started this and i have also joined up at a dog school which im starting this sunday. Good luck!

With Tino i find that food works best. He does do basic stuff without food sometimes. I just dont want the commands i give him to become reliant on food all the time.

this is not good When i bring Tino into the house for a bit the first thing he starts doing is this small cough like he has something stuck in his throught. He rarely does it, but sometime when he walks around exploring things he will just do a few goughs like he has something in his throught. He dosnt cough much but sometimes ive seen him do it.
