  1. I have a girl here who after whelping 5 puppies naturally needed a c section for the final puppy. She has been given Ab's i have a bottle of Inner health i bought for myself in the fridge and was wondering if its ok to give them to her?
  2. I cant find it i dont suppose anyone has a link please????
  3. Thanks Lisa I'll try the rubber gloves, the baby hair is a shade different to the new hair coming through it's like bunny fluff in fact thats what we have been calling her, my daughter has been collecting the baby hair in a bag weird i know but its better than the wolfhound hair she use to collect LOL btw its not Sophie its another yonger pup i have here.
  4. Thanks Sas Will bio oil do the same thing??
  5. Thanks Sandra I have been using the stripping comb which has removed alot of the old coat havn't used a grooming block but i'm at a show on the weekend so will see if i can buy one. The reason it is so obvious is that the new coat is a lot blacker than the puppy coat, but i think your right it will just take a bit of time and i will just have to be patient
  6. Hi i was hoping to get some advice in regards to my stafford pups coat. She seems to be loosing her puppy coat i can see her normal looking coat where the other coat has come out which looks good but i ihave never had a stafford pup look so patchy when they changed coat. Is there anyway to speed things up as she has a few shows coming up and there's no way i'll take her in the ring like this. Thanks Sharon
  7. It certainly is interesting reading my girl has a white chest and toes so i wont know if it's from a cold if she gets it or just inherited from her.
  8. Thanks puggy puggy we have had KC before the joys of mixing with other dogs at shows i will certainly keep an eye on them will go to vets this week and get some linctol to relieve the cough. I have heard the brachy breeds get worse symptoms than non brachy breeds not sure if this is correct or not but a friends bulldog had it last year when my staffords had it and she was very snotty and ended up on antibiotics.
  9. Thanks for your replies i am keeping her seperate from the others so here's hoping she dosn't catch it. I cant send her any where else as she would be likely to stress away from home the pregnancy isn't confirmed yet but i'm really hoping she is. I have read that KC is just the same as a cold is for humans and pregnant humans get colds with no probs so in theory all should be ok. Funnily enough Cavandra my dogs are staffords but we're in Vic so i'm not your neighbour
  10. I have two dogs here at the moment showing symtoms of KC i also have a possibly three week pregnant bitch who has no symtoms does anyone know if she catches it will it adversly affect her pregnancy.
  11. My dogs love them too and if you buy them from Aldi they're only 59 cents a tin!
