  1. Sorry if this is not the place to post this request, but is anyone from rescue able to do a premesis inspection on a property at Wyong Creek?
  2. Hi All. I was wondering if other rescuers have vets they use at rescuer rates for desexing and vaccinating kittens? We don't normally rescue cats, but have a kitten coming to us on Sunday from the pound :)
  3. Found the add online, and it looks as though another rescue has already stepped in :) UPDATE: WOW what an amazing response we have received for our beautiful pup, the caring nature of the doggy community is outstanding. Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue have taken on the overwhelming task of rehousing our Dice for us. He is still with us on the farm, but you need to contact Caitlin on [email protected] for re-homing enquiries. if you want specific personality queries, please feel free to contact us on the address's in the ad. Once again, thanks to everyone who has enquired, we have passed your details on to DFL.
  4. Could someone send me the details/add for this dog? I've rehomed a deaf and blind dog before, and unless she was unique, they're really great dogs that are not so different. Barking tends to be an issue, but only if they're left alone or want you to find them. I'd be willing to help but might be too far away...
  5. Porsche's Rescue has a calendar too, featuring some rescues from the past year; bunnies, guinea pigs, ducks and ferret! :) www.Porsche's Rescue.com
  6. Sadly, it's not just with dogs that this is happening with. Yesterday I was looking through Gumtree, and there are a whole lot of adds claiming to have rescued bunnies up for adoption, when I know they are in fact breeders selling baby rabbits (without desexing or vaccination). Very frustrating, as the breeders are seeing the move people are making towards rescue, and are misleading the public in order to profit. There are also adds claiming they are rabbit rescues and need donations, yet the photos they've got are from other websites (often in America). Very unethical, but little I think we can do other than educating public...
  7. Very cute... but I'm sure they don't need homes anymore so everybody move along nicely :)Nothing to see here, lol. *yes I am being sarcastic... but the longer these guys stay in rescue, the more photos and updates we get!
  8. Perhaps this website could give you a few ideas: http://www.petnet.com.au/selectapet.asp?at=43

    Help

Try citronella oil rubbed onto her tail. If she gets a wiff or taste of it it should deter her. These things are best dealt with as soon as possible, otherwise she could grow up to be a real problem. Another thing to try is blasting a horn or loud instrument when she starts it. I wouldn't be giving her any attention at this time either, as Jigsaw says, any attention is reinforcing the behaviour.
  10. I think it sounds like a text book case of separation anxiety. You can look it up and get all sorts of advice, but I think at the end of the day you're just stuck with it and have to manage it somehow.
