  1. I have never had a problem renting with pets in Melbourne & I have been honest & applied for them. Hubby & I have a 100% approval on all rentals we applied for with pets & no problems. We just applied & had a pet resume on all applications as well as the sugestion of a pet bond (i believe this is illegal to actually take but does make you look like you care & take pet ownership seriously). My in-laws just moved from sa with their dog are renting while they look for their home to buy. Followed my advice & too have a 100% sucess rate & had no problems. Someone once told me people look at if you have kids more so that a pet dog. Dogs are less likely to cause damage than kids I guess... Goodluck & welcome to Melbourne!
  2. A friend's of mine dog eats stones. Her teeth are terribly broken & damaged so id definently try to stop the habit!

  9. I've done a search - but I couldn't find anything. So I'll ask the question here - what type of turf do you think is the toughest for dogs. I'm more worried about dog goat tracks repairing than digging. I have pointers. I've done a bit of a google search & I think kikuya (sp?) is one if the better ones as it grows with runners. Any tips or advice would be much appreciated :) It's a very large area about 400m2 and in a sunny spot. Thanks all!
  10. Tollersowned I wore a black pain of pants and a pretty daggy looking jumper LOL so no dressups for me!
  11. I seem to remember the rough judges. There was one in particular who was more of a "slapper" than going over the dogs. He scared one of girls. I thought stupidly he'd stop doing it. So I entered under him again. And he scared my puppy! That's it. Never again. 2 chances and you're out. I couldn't stand his sour puss face when he judged either! LOL
  12. Group 3 dunno how many. At least 5-6 goldens, about the same cockers, a couple of clumbers, and me the pointer.
  13. Well done dekadent :) now did I see correctly that you picked up a baby in show??? I saw the frogging it was very cute!! It was a really lovely night. The lovely little prizes were really a nice touch. Thankyou to all the sponsors and coordinators for a chilly but pleasent night. My own girl came away with a rubig, 2x big & 2x rubis. Seems like she's starting to grow into those long giraffe legs!
  14. The amazing rusty wins BIS! What a thrill for kez! Kerry is such a gorgeous lady - she piloted Aida, Rhyll Repertoire - Rustys sister to a rubis win - also at the park. So to win bis with rusty - its just so wonderful! Spelling is Ch Rhyll Rendezvous Cdx :) And now for his grand!
