  1. There are 3 litters advertised on the DOL Yorkshire Terrier page. Also suggest a phone around to breeders listed as litters are not always advertised and Yorkies are hard to find these days.
  2. I have had success by crushing the tablet and adding a little water - enough to use a syringe and just pop it in the dog's mouth. You could use yoghurt instead of water.
  3. We never had any problems with our entire male Golden Retrievers - had two for many years and several girls who were entire. However, our little Yorkshire Terrier boy has to wear a belly band because, try as hard as we can, we just can't get him to stop lifting his leg inside. And none of our Yorkie girls are entire so it is just a territory marking exercise I think.
  4. My Golden talks to me. She responds when I talk to her, and gives me such a warm look it melts my heart!
  5. Have you considered there might be a tracea problem?
  6. Have seen the vet - no obvious problems. Age 15 months. Happy active dog, but not over-active. Her ribs can be felt. She has quite a square conformation - not overlong in the loin. She has a mixture of food, chicken, MyDog, vegies, dry food - the same proportion as the rest of the Yorkies this person has.
  7. A friend of mine has a Yorkshire Terrier girl who will not put on any weight, even though she eats well and would eat all the other Yorkies' food if she could. Has anybody got any ideas about how to get some more weight on her. She has been wormed.
  8. They called me too and I told them my computer technician had just checked my computer and they hung up !!
  9. I am a GR lover and they are just such special dogs, that's for sure. However, I do believe that a breed with a similar disposition is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. They are such loving and happy dogs, great with people and children, easy to manage and nowhere as big as a Golden. However, your friend, if they want to explore this breed, should be sure they purchase from a dedicated caring breeder who does all the health tests and breeds accordingly. Do lots of research!
  10. I saw it and was absolutely amazed and shocked when one breeder said they had 70 bitches in their kennels!!!
  11. How about the Yorkshire Terrier? Surprised they are not on the list.
  12. Just make sure that you don't need at Vet Certificate for this. In my experience I have to take the dog to the vet within a fortnight of it flying to Tas and have certification from a Vet that the medication has been administered.
  13. The url is http://www.parliament.sa.gov.au/Committees/Pages/Committees.aspx?CTId=3&CId=276 and then select the Final Report pdf.
  14. I will make some enquiries and let you know when and where it can be viewed.
