  1. The spray I used to use on my Tibetan terriers was 3/4 fill a spray bottle with warm water and then fill the rest of the bottle with Schwarzkopf Leave in conditioner. I used that for years was fantastic.
  2. Sounds like it had more problems than just being hungry.
  3. Boronia, I think you might find it difficult to get a photo editor compatible to the Linux version you have. What did you want done with the pic. I see it in the wildlife section? Can I be of any help ?
  4. mish13, do you mean your siggy ? Ozstar has offered to do it. I also do siggys if anyone wants one done.
  5. Have done one for you mavericksmission.
  6. Wow! That is a large incision. I hope Benita is recoving well. Sorry cavNrott didn't see your post until today. Yes Benita is doing extremely well thanks, the vet is pleased with her as well. It's amazing how the oldies bounce back from some pretty big ops.
  7. This is the worst part of having dogs MadWoofter, having had multiple dogs for many years and most of them around the same age give or take a year or two, it is really hard when you know their time is coming. We are on watch with our oldies all the time, usually we make the decision when their quality of life is no more, as much as we don't want them to go it is the kindest thing for them. Even though it breaks our hearts, we know that we have always done the right thing by them and they have never wanted for anything, our home is their home. I make memorial posters for our kids at Rainbow Bridge and it helps just being able to look at them as they were.
  8. Get them done as soon as possible. We took our 11 year old bitch down to the vets on Monday to get him to check out her mammary lumps and he said he would do her that day. He did a full mammary strip, which strips the lot of her mammary glands on the side the lumps are on. She is the second of our bitches who have had a mammory strip, the other bitch was the same age, but her lumps were much further advanced and she ended up with cancer in her soft palate which was inoperable. This is the pic of Benita taken a few minutes ago. She has a drain in which will be removed tomorrow. She is not dirty, she has mottley skin from age.
  9. I don't hold with the need to tattoo a dog for idiot purposes, but probably hurts less than hot branding horses or cattle, now that would be sore.
  10. Mac looks ever so comfy in his mobile, westiemum. They have become really popular for rescues with oldies. Lovely to know the oldies can get out and enjoy life too.
  11. Any sign of Lucian yet. I hope he is found soon. I don't see any updates on their fb page about him, only winning show pics.
  12. It all depends on how many you feel comfortable with. We used to have 17 and now have 6. What with us and 4 of them getting on in age, 6 is just nice.
