  1. Hi Iggy lovers :) I am very interested in this special breed. I am wondering what is their normal price generally here in Australia? And what about the different prices for one limited register as opposed to one who is on full register ? How can I ensure I have a 3-4 kg one according to breed standard as opposed to those tall ones I usually see more commonly advertised who look whippet size.
  2. Thanks for the reply. At this stage we really don't know what to do or how to socialize a 40kg unsocialized dog:( We can't walk her as she walks us into cars on the sound of other dogs or even people, she is that strong. It is so Much simpler when they are young puppies and they are easier to control.
  3. Hi guys. I am desperately looking for a really good dog school for an 8 month old unsocialized huge puppy that we just rescued, that has never gone on walks, etc. Any suggestions? I want high quality nationally credited dog trainers (not like vet places or pet shops). We live in Algester on the south side of brisbane.
  4. Same as given to the OP. Time for a vet visit. he's been to the vet, recently he was vaccinated so he got a check as well and the vet said the hips are ok according to the age. i was thinking of advice on supplements, i am sure many people have experienced this with old age dogs so I am sure there are some answers out there...
  5. Awesome thanks guys, will try it out.:)
  6. I see this topic hasnt been updated in a while but i have a similar problem. my goldie is 10 and his legs are shaking sometimes when he is walking. he can still go for walks though, and when he goes to the park he goes for runs. but at home, particularly when he is standing still, they are shaking. unfortunately we have stairs to get into the house and they are unavoidable and he goes up and down on them like 20 times a day. he gets fishoil and glucosamine tablets every day. what more can i do? there is no swimming place nearby unfortunately. has anyone tried sea tone or seashell tablets? or some other natura treatment that you would recomend? Any advice?
  7. I am thinking of trying my 10 year old Golden Retriever on this food...currently he is on Hollistic Select. But when I read the reviews online ToTW seems to be the top of the top in dog food worldwide. Although the bison and the other meat one do better in reviews than salmon, im thinking because of the protein level salmon would be the way to go for his age...should I order it online? Can anyone here post links where they order theirs from?
  8. Hi this is my first time posting here so not sure if this is the right place however i do have a qst regarding the logan pound near brisbane, qld. Is there anybody who saves these dogs there or most of them? How can i find that out? I have been following dogs on their website since recently and once they were gone from the website i would check rescuepets website to find them in hope a rescue group would advertise them there but i never could.. Does that mean all those dogs have been killed? Because in the sale program thers hardly ever any dogs safe compared to the numbers that come in. I honestly feel people are not educated enough about the existence of the animal pound!!! The media should talk about it more because most people i know are not even aware of animal pounds with a kill policy existing in their neighbourhood. I am unable to foster care at the moment but how else could i possibly help the logan pound??
