  1. I will ask her. She has been busy with the horses this year
  2. I use bravecto with no issues also have a breeder friend that gives them to her Westies
  3. A facebook page you may want to try Sheep herding for city dogs it's in S/E Qld
  4. Thank you all for the suggestions I will give them all a go. I have always had dogs in my life and she is the 1st one I have had problems with collars.. Steph M she is a fairly long coated dog (Border collie) Willem we did try a loose type made collar and she was to smart and gets it off. Persephone Thank you heaps she is a bit spoilt but has had a fair amount of training despite her hate for the collar. I will have a look into some more Obedience classes for her as the last place I wasn't happy with. I will let you all know how we go during the week with progress :)
  5. I have a pup that has hated collar since she came home. I tried keeping it on her when she first came home but after 2 weeks I gave up and took it off her. She is now 7 months old and still acts up when we go for walks, As soon as we stop she is on the ground rolling around even scratched the side of her face on the cement (Kinda like how the dry themselves). Last week I brought her an Ezydog quick fit harness she has been doing alot better but hates it under her armpits. She ends up walking like a stiff legged Zombie with her back arched . I would love some suggestions on a harness that doesn't sit under the armpit or any other methods I can use please. Even suggestions on how to get her to like her collar? Collar would be helpful when we start Lure coursing and sheep herding
  6. I think Inky suits her better. I have a Inka here, The family picked it I disliked it at first and now I wouldn't have her name anything else. Good luck choosing a name. I had a feeling she was going to stay :p
  7. actually, I am not sure. I know I can if I want, but I've got 3 ageing whippets here plus Neko who is a lively little thing, I dont know that I want another puppy just yet, and it would come with the same conditions as Neko did. It would be required to have a litter. I found it pretty stressful when she went into labour and for about 2 weeks after. Now it's fun, Neko and I have both calmed down and we're both just enjoying the puppies. I'll wait and see how I feel when it's time for them to go. That is totally understandable :) Will be hard to say goodbye when the time comes.
  8. They are simply stunning!! I love Mystery Any chance you are keeping one? I mean how could you not :D
  9. Sadly the markets near me don't allow dogs
  10. Hi Kitt. At Kuraby most dogs run separate. There is also a policy that only one dog on the enclosed field (unless you want the dogs running together). As for dogs not wanting to chase there is quite a few dogs that go every month that don't chase :). Also quite a few dogs that are hard to catch after running. It's all about having fun. Hope you can come along on the 5th August.
  11. November last year I put both dogs in their crates went to the shop was gone 25 minutes. Some low lives broke in stole 1 of the dogs and electrical items... Thank fully with the support of Facebook my boy was found and returned later the next day few cuts and bruises. I now have such a fear of going out I always have someone at home or the dogs come with me
