  1. I am in Victoria and I use copies of forms all the time. I have never had any complaints from show secretaries in the 18 years I have been doing it. I still have some forms left from my original book of 50 I bought from the VCA in 1995. As long as the copy is the correct size and the writing is legible I don't think you will have any problems.
  2. This is from the DogsVic email newsletter "At a Glance" July 26 edition:- "The lodgement of the August Magazine with Australia Post has been delayed until approximately August 12. However members can view the Gazette online in the members area of the website from 29 July and the schedules will be able in the About Us> What’s Happening section from the same date." Hopefully it won't be too long getting to us.
  3. I would be interested in the Griffon one if it hasn't gone already.
  4. We had a Griffon diagnosed with Cushings at 7 or 8 years of age. She had to stay at the vets for 10 days until the vet was confident the dosage was correct. We had to use gloves with the pills. She needed the dosage adjusting a couple of times over the years. We stopped the medication because she no longer needed it about 12 months before she passed away at the ripe old age of 16 and a half years. In our case it was worth doing.
  5. With our council it is called an excess animal permit and it is an annual fee just like the dog registrations.
  6. The Victorian legislation (Domestic Animals Act) specifically states that it is fertile bitches. Whoever wrote the DPI info did not quote the Act correctly. The maximum number of fertile bitches a member of an applicable organisation can have while remaining exempt from being considered a domestic animal business is nine.
