  1. I can't get pitapata to work in my signature, can someone please help me?
  2. Hi We have been looking for a dog for Will to train for a while now, its been hard to find that really special dog, esp after Neo is such an awesome dog and he wants one just like him! lol that and Neo's being fussy about who hes going to accept as a new brother/sister. How's Froggy and Stimpy going? Been doing much training? Neo's going great after his 6mth break. He got first in CCD obedience yesterday and got his title! YAY The zoomies are still around he spent all saturday (a week ago) zooming and we got DQ in every run! and then on Sunday he didnt zoom once! and he got first in Excellent Jumping, and beat all the border collies and kelpies by 3 seconds! So i'm thrilled that hes finally getting his act together, even if it is only occasionally!
  3. Hi All, We are currently looking for a small rescue dog between 8mths- 2yrs to do agility and obedience with. We are looking for a second dog so my partner can have a dog to train, as he's sick of watching me have all the fun! We found the perfect dog in Victoria only to be told that they do not rehome interstate! So we thought we would post a message on here and see how we go! We are happy to travel for the right dog! We currently have a small Schipperke x which is trialling in obedience and agility. We are looking for a small dog with intelligence, speed and a lovely personality! Our dogs are an integral part of our family and sleep indoors and go on all holidays etc with us. Our dogs are our kids! so a forever home is guaranteed here. We are aware of the issues that many rescue dogs come with, and we have the patience and experience to work through most. Common Questions Rescue Groups Ask Us! What type of dog are you looking for? Active, Intelligent, People orientated, Toy or Food driven, Small Dog suitable for Agility, Obedience & Tracking training and trialing. Why do you want to adopt a dog? For a companion for our current dog (also a rescue dog), and so my partner Will can have a dog to train to compete in agility, obedience and tracking as well. (he's sick of watching me have all the fun!) Do you currently have any other dogs? If so, what kind? Breed, age and sex? A small schipperke terrier x, 3 year old desexed male. He was 12 months old when we got him from a rescue group. He has a dominant personality when meeting other dogs, because he has always been an only child. Has your current pet/pets been C5 vaccinated in the last 12 months? He always has a current C5, his last one was this month, can show certificate if required. Do you have a doggie door? Yes We have compiled a list of questions we ask rescue groups about prospective dogs, so we have posted them below. If you have a dog you think that would suit us please answer as many of these questions as you can in your reply. We also love lots of pictures and videos as well :-) Since it’s such a big and important decision adding a new member to our family we have alot of questions to ask. We are looking for a very special dog to fit into our home and he/she must be suitable in both personality and physically for advanced training in agility and obedience so some of my questions might be a bit specific. Manners and bad behaviours aren’t a problem for us as retraining won’t be a problem. How much does he weigh? How tall is he? (to shoulder) How long is he? (back of neck to base of tail) How much taller/bigger do you think he will grow? How big are his paws? Is he more people or dog orientated? Is he a high energy dog? Is he affectionate and cuddly? Is he a fast dog? Does he have downtimes or always energetic? Does he get along with dogs of all sizes? Does he have any special or funny habits or traits? Does he have any bad habits or traits? Is he a dominant or submissive personality? Is he a happy, shy or reserved dog? Is he a treat or toy driven? Is he house trained? Has he been housed mainly inside or outside? How did he end up for adoption? Dumped, surrended etc How long has he been in foster care? Is he already desexed? Does he have any special dietary/medical requirements? Does he have any old injuries or scars? Has he been checked for luxating patellas? Is he ok with kids? Is he scared of men? Does he appear to have a history of abuse? Is there anything else I need to know? Have we forgotten to ask any other annoying questions? :-)
