  1. It's five years since we brought Trixie home from Hawkesbury Pound as a foster. She had some temperament issues so we decided to keep her as we're set up to manage her and keep her safe. Since then she's had a Grade II MCT, vestibular disease and now hypothyroidism. Her "breeder" should be shot She seems a lot older than she is and she rarely moves with any speed [unless it's to get out of Bruno and Jackson's way ], but she's still with us and still does a little happy dance at feeding time. I overheard my OH saying to her "your tail needs to tell your face that you're happy" LOL Happy 7th made-up Birthday Miss Trixie!
  2. No It's been suggested, but I don't really know how it works. Is it as basic as he sees the dog, I say look at that and then shove food in his face?
  3. Oh funny! He is a great dog. He has this stupid leash reactivity nonsense though and it's frustrating because people think he's a monster when he's actually the total opposite. He's never ever hurt another animal. I'm finding Devon is working to keep his focus at the moment. He just loves that processed lips and arsehole!
  4. Deleted I should read the whole thread before I post!
  5. Is your dog an Amstaff? He sounds like my Bruno. It might be a long journey, but it'll be worth it in the end!
  6. Comfortis worked for us a few months ago when we had a flea outbreak
  7. I made a feeding time video recently too :)
  8. If any Melbournites are interested in buying any of the gear I have left I'll be down there next Fri and can bring items with me. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-seller-other-ads.html?userId=32319193 I'd need a small deposit upfront.
  9. really!? what a small world! :) Unless there was another b+w Frenchie there!
  10. Jackson got to play with the puppies for the last time last night [the got desexed today], he had a blast, even if his neck is all red now!

  12. Sares, I think I saw you there and admired your Frenchie :)
  13. IMy friend is coming to meet him shortly. But she's been talking about getting a second dog for years so I won't get too excited!
  14. And the puppies got some more photos just because  They go for desexing tomorrow and then off to their new homes on Saturday hopefully.
  15. Jackson got some new adoption photos because he's had ZERO interest. Not even unsuitable applications! I know sometimes dogs take a little longer to get adopted and then they end up with unbelievably perfect homes, so I'll be patient. We love having him here anyway :)
  16. I find you need really good light for Fast Camera to be sharp. Here are some that weren't taken in really good light!
  17. I missed the Canon IQ and I had a really bad experience with Nikon Professional Services over three months that affected my business.
  18. I posted this in the market place but I think it might be more relevant to post it here... Sydneysiders – I listed all my Nikon gear on Gumtree if anyone's interested. I've moved back to Canon. There'll be a blog post at a later date! http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-seller-other-ads.html?userId=32319193
  19. Bungee is a funny one. She's personality plus and has no fear whatsoever. She's very affectionate too. She'll bring someone very many years of entertainment and joy :)
  20. As usual Bruno is loving having puppies here to play with  Having said that, Jackson is his new BFF, I just haven't taken any photos of them playing together yet. There are squillions of videos here.
  21. This is Jackson I don't mind speaking for my OH and the rest of the pack when I say we're all a little bit in love with him. If we had room for a fifth permanent dog there's no way we'd be letting him go! Blue steel  His profile is online here And these munchkins are Bungee and Munster.
