We did it :D Huge turn out in Adelaide with 23 entries and only 2 vetted out during test.

I highly recommend Scott McGuiness from Canine Connect. He runs small group classes (max 5 dogs) at various locations around Adelaide as well as offering private consultations. I attended his classes earlier in the year with my new dog and was happy.

Wheat and chicken seem to be very common causes of allergies in GSDs.

Yes I completely understand! I am already getting paranoid regarding injury etc. This week I have stopped throwing the ball for Jack to reduce risk of sprains or cruciate rupture. I have had too many 5am starts over the last few months to risk him being injured at the last minute!

Yep I'm starting to get excited too and also nervous! Hadn't even considered KC so might give dog club a miss the week before. Thanks for the tip.

Good luck Rebanne! Hope the knee holds up. Which ET are you aiming for? How is the training going? We have entered the GSDCSA one which is in 7 weeks tomorrow. We have been training 3 times a week and are now up to 8km a session :)

Hi Sir Snook, Have you tried Mark Singer? I am currently attending his Reactive Dog classes and the positive difference after only 3 weeks in all of the dogs including some that were initially extremely reactive and aggressive is amazing. The dogs are all now working within 2 metres of each other and some of these dogs were going absolutely nuts at greater than 50 metres away from each other the first week.

Is anyone else currently training for this years ET?

I am starting training this week with 3 year old Jack my recently adopted GSD. I am hoping it will be a great bonding experience for us :)

I never dreamt of Kynan until a week after he died. I saw him very briefy and he seemed happy. I called him over, gave him a quick pat and then I woke up. It was quite comforting.

I am so very sorry that your special girl has left you. What a full life Ness lived with so many fantastic achievements. May she always watch over you and may you feel her spirit close by. Thinking of you, Kenzie, and your family at this extremely sad time x RIP Ness

Dear Dave73 and Jazz, So sorry to hear that it is almost time for you to say goodbye to Jazz. After following your thread and praying for Jazz's recovery it saddens me to say that I truely feel your pain and can imagine what you are going through. I cannot believe that two weeks ago my 7 year old GSD boy Kynan was also diagnosed with haemangiosarcoma and only has a few weeks left

Yep agree with CHA, Dr Ian at Hub Vet Aberfoyle Park We now live at Glenelg and I still drive Kynan up there to see him.
