  2. Seeing all of the popularity and issues with Merle Frenchies and them being registered by the 2 other NON ANKC registries makes me feel disgusted to be honest. Puppies up to $30,000 not having all health testing done, breeders denying that merle breeding can have issues and many not even knowing what health testing should be done for their breed apart from colour profiling. Actually a MBDA merle breeder compared them to buying a cheap Japanese car compared to a new Ferrari based on colour only, who gives a rats arse if the Ferrari has a working engine or not. Same breeder denied health issues with merle breedings too. No wonder the RSPCA targets the breed more because of the pricing. $3500 for an ANKC Mains registered show pup in an allowable colour complete with full health testing panel compared to a non recognised colour that can't be shown at ANKC shows that hasn't had all testing for $30,000 yep makes sense
  3. As a Frenchie owner I am as appalled at the airline as I am the owner, Frenchies all have compromised breathing in some way compared to non braccy breeds to not get up and check the dog in 3 hours is disgusting, to allow it is just as appalling. People get up to get things out of their bag all of the time, I am sorry but the owner is just as responsible in my view
  4. My cousins and my grand mother had rough coats, they were lovely but by memory could be reactive when stressed. Certainly weren't active but I do remember that they would snap rather than show more obvious stress indicators but I was a teen myself back then
  5. I'm stuck on why there are so few damnations on this purebred dog forum about this dog being back yard bred after the incident, the situation is tragic but profiteering isn't something that sits well for me
  6. Frenchie cross Pug My Frenchie on left, Frug on right. Same price mine Mains registered, all health tests imaginable performed, delivered by breeders from Victoria to SA and incredible nature. Frug purchased online from Interstate, no history, no health testing. Sweet girl and lovely owners Gratuitous Fozzie photos :D
  7. Curly Coated Retriever x Alaskan Malamute oops litter from two neighbouring registered breeders, the entire litter was surrendered at 7 weeks and they were the single most stunning dogs that I had ever seen but they were all utter asshats and I believe most if not all ended up coming back to be euthed as adults with HA issues. Another Supervisor and I wrote a report on them for training staff members Keeshond cross Chihuahua pups surrendered to be euthed as they had normal sized bodies with tiny non weight bearing legs but the breeder said that the first litter was fine
  8. We sell large Australian ones 10 for $17.10
