  1. Oh I'm so sorry I remember your photos of him, such a handsome boy.
  2. Could it be anal glands irritating her?
  3. Those are cracking shots Kirislin! The low angle you get makes for a really good photo, love Ruby Whippet and the grey :)
  4. First meet of the season yesterday :D The course was 340m long and Poppy ran twice (with a good break in between) and ran like a pro - *cough* apart from the poo and pee stops! I'm hoping next time she goes the whole course without a toilet break  A few pics taken by Photojemic Photography and Studio Joy. Look at those thigh and shoulder muscles! :D
  5. Very cute! You should put that on the WA Iggy fb page :)
  6. Oh he's adorable! Look forward to lots of photos and stories as he grows :D
  7. What are they doing there?!
  8. That's because they are made of the softest, silkiest, substance known to nature
  9. Oh she's lovely and does indeed remind me of my old Frida, she was a small grey :)
  10. I know the cafe you mean, and have taken Poppy there a few times. If we were near any other dog I would always ask before letting her approach, but unfortunately I think because it is an enclosed area and other people probably assume no one would take a 'dangerous' dog there, that they are safe to let their dogs just wander around at will!
  11. Oh those are just gorgeous Kirty Love the bed stealing hounds too  I struggle somnetimes with just little Poppy on our bed! gapvic - do you know if any similar events are being planned for WA?
  12. Is it weird that I like the smell of the mussels  I had mine arrive at work a couple of days ago but the receptionists were very polite about any fishy smell!
  13. It was back in Scotland where it never stopped raining! Hence the greenness of it all :)
  14. Poor Armadillo..... And Hide n Seek
  15. Well I have greyhounds tattooed on my leg so I guess 'I love Greyhounds' too :) These are rubbish videos as they were taken a few years ago on an old phone, but this is Frida back in the UK. Showing how dangerous they are with little dogs! Mad garden zoomies
  16. Just anecdotal, Rebanne, or can you back this up with hard evidence? Unless you can and are just relying on fifth hand reports, you shouldn't be adding fuel to a fire, small, nonexistent or otherwise. Certainly not 'non-existent' - I've also heard about someone being taunted by an idiot when walking their grey yesterday
  17. Look at little Neko go! Great shots and a really lovely one of Sprite :) Can't wait for the season to start here again next month
  18. It's ok, I know they are far from normal! :)
  19. Lol, are you saying my dogs aren't normal ;)
  20. To be honest I would avoid those types of 'dried' bones and try something like a meaty raw roo tail, or whole lamb necks or flaps. Sorry but what rubbish, a properly researched raw diet provides a well balanced diet and certainly doesn't need the addition of kibble to 'balance' it. Some people/dogs don't always adapt or cope with being raw fed, so for some sticking to kibble works better for them.
  21. Just wanted to follow up on what dogmad has said, and please don't take this as a dig, but I think the following are myths that just tend to get repeated from site to site. No Lanolin - I often hear that cresties are allergic to wool - mine love sleeping on their sheepskin rugs with no side affects at all and have worn wollen jumpers too. They can only have cotton next to their skin - as above, mine happily wear fleeces and fabrics that are not cotton next to their skin - the majority of their clothes are cotton, but I have no issues with them when they wear synthetic fabrics. You need to let their skin have some 'breathing' time whatever they wear. They need special anaesthetic like the sighthounds. Unfortunately mine have had several anaesthetics, but no different to other small dogs. I did raise this with our vet at one point but they found nothing to believe this was the case or needed. They are funny little dogs - I love their quirky little ways! - no disagreement here
  22. Ah, just lovely - great seeing these two messing around together :D Please tell me you have "You've Got a Friend in Me" by Randy Newman lined up for one of the videos......
