  1. There's a lot of that at the moment same thing with Zukes.
  2. Another fan of the big dog barf here, the wellbeing and roo are great if your dog needs to shed a few kilos. I also give chicken frames, necks, beef brisket bones, salmon heads, whole fish, bone broth plus fruits and vege.
  3. I prefer to get the wings for my lab but haven't been able to get them for a while.
  4. $11 a kilo wish I could find the ocean trout for that price, best I have seen is $14! I don't mind it's a treat thing, it's not every meal costing me that. I got Abbey nice decent size strips of salmon the other week, giving mostly frozen she likes those quite a bit too. Had to give the salmon heads a break as they have been a bit too big.
  5. Think my lab is hooked on whole rainbow trout now Yonjuro :) Great sunday treat she thinks.
  6. That's very interesting Yonjuro, I think I will get a blood panel done on Abbey when she gets her shots in early December. I had been thinking about it but I think I definitely will now. Abbey is still having a few skin issues even on full raw so I have been wondering if she is out somewhere.
  7. That's terrible, world so unfair to kind people.
  8. Hi Guys, Just wondering if any of you have any recommendations on dermatologists in NSW? And what your experiences have been.
  9. Another fan of the EzyDog Zero Shock, fantastic for saving my arms from sudden jolt of a Labrador that has found an amazing scent and stops suddenly. Have had mine for over 2 years. EzyDog Zero Shock
  10. Swazzie I don't know what to say but *big massive huge hugs*
  11. Interesting comments on there, my lab definitely had all these reactions as well, to this day I still have troubles with her (she only had one bag of Black Hawk) it seemed to trigger a complete over reaction of her system, itched herself silly. Personally I wish I never heard of the stuff.
  12. Same here my black lab had same issue now RAW fed no more kibbles.
  13. Same here signed papers last Monday. *high fives!* So, what cars did we all nutjobs get? I've now got a Rav4. Diesel Ford Mondeo Wagon. So economical. Mazda CX-5 I get it into two weeks! For those mentioning KONG too, my online store Woof N' Wag has 25% off storewide until Tuesday night (mentioned in commercial marketplace).
  14. Also finding that interesting and will have to try with Abbey, wonder what is in the pumpkin skin that isn't in the rest of it...
  15. Yeah, it sounds like bigger bone won't help your chomping machine :D I also agree that too much bone is definitely not a good thing. Dunno much about Japanese Spitz but I know that too much bone can bind Zinc and then you can get problems with ZRD (Zinc responsive dermatosis) especially in huskies. If I am giving a meal with a high quantity of bone I make sure I increase the liver and kidney to counteract the hard chalky stools :) I must remember to do this next time Abbey has a big bone.
  16. Thanks Yonjuro Ill keep a look out for the rainbow trout, I'm starting to think our dogs eat better then we do :D Ive got a couple of Salmon heads which I didn't actually realise just how big they were until I got home, way to big for Abbey to eat all at once and impossible to cut up...I'm wondering if I could do a bit of a Salmon head broth (like bone broth) any thoughts? Im thinking though it might stink up the house a bit though having fish cooking for any extended period of time.
  17. Is that a whole rainbow trout? I give salmon heads too, plus sardines haven't tried her on the trout. I also freeze for a period before giving them to my lab.
  18. My lab Abbey loves bone broth especially on a cold day I'm actually due to make some more ...
