Hi, this sounds very strange,  the breeder must have someone minding her other dogs.

Which date had been agreed on for puppy pick up,  or was pup going by plane to your airport?

@Loving my Oldies    why do you think Jeune has to be fed this way?   is it just because she is old  or  she doesn't  have any jaw strength

Hi @griffiths  congratulations on your new puppy!    

First rule,  be flexible,  some advice will work well for you & pup,   some things you try with pup won't  suit your lifestyle,  be willing to let these ideas go 

I have found if puppy is in a crate beside your bed at night he will be comforted by your nearness, &  you can take him out for toileting quickly when he stirs,  maybe 1 or 2 times a night for about 4 - 8 weeks

I took my pup outside on a leash for potty time so I could control where she went

With destruction in your home,  all I can say is if you don't want puppy  to have access &  DESTROY  some things then put valuables out of reach or close doors  or  baby gate doorways

I hope this helps a little  be flexible,  if something is not working for you try a different way

@Loving my Oldies  After all your  time & effort,  plus  I'm sure your own money spent,   I think the rescue should drop extra charges for fosters who stay long term

@persephone I have never heard of  liquid silver being a health wash,    isn't  silver toxic?     what else do you use this for,   I will have to investigate   

@Loving my Oldies  Maybe if Sooty slept in a small travel carrier,  placed on a chair or side table right next to your bed,   this might help her sleep longer being so close 

I have done this with Pandi & she sleeps until I get up

have you changed her diet from earthborn,   does diet make any difference with UTIs 

@groodle_melb  how is your pup going now?      have you decided to have crate & pup in your bedroom for night times?
