Pele got her 3rd Rally Obedience Excellent leg to earn her RE title yesterday. That's the 9th title that she's earned - 2 show, 2 obedience, 2 tracking and 3 rally. What a clever little girl she is  When the paperwork is completed her official title will be Aust. Ch & Neuter Ch Trahern Glenariff (ai) CD RE TDX :cheer:

YAY!!! CONGRATS!!!! Lots of roast chicken for Pele tonight!! :)

What an achievement! Good on you Julie!

Does anyone on here have a bully from Speiread? Hannarjb's Dovah is; wondering if any relatives are on here!

Unfortunately I am currently Bully-less. So not here!

pm "Linus" on here, she will give some great advice, she has multiple BTS , but she is good at keeping them in check. She may also know the best place for you to look, she helped me get my girl.

I would say it depends on the dogs.

G'day guys,

Picking up a Miniature English Bull Terrier Puppy on 9th August.

What do you guys think about crate size for indoors?

Decided on the Midwest LifeStages but can't decide on a size.

30" (75cm) - Dimensions: 78 L x 50 W x 54.6 H cm

36" (90cm) - Dimensions: 93 L x 57.78 W x 62.8 H cm

Thanks guys,

Joey.

Hi Joey, I asked hannahrjb on here who owns a mini and she has a 30 but wishes she'd gotten a 36 and recommends you get that size. She and I (and many others on this forum) use vebo crates and really like them.

Thanks heaps!

Was also thinking of the 36".

Do Vebo crates come with a divider?

Any particular reason you prefer the Vebo over the midwest?

You can get dividers for vebo crates, yes.

I have no experience with midwest so I don't prefer vebo crates over them, it's just what I and my bully-owning friend have and are very happy with.

Fair enough. Thanks for the advice.

Don't seem to have covers available for the 36" crates.

Have sent them an email to find out why.

Planning on having this setup permanently in the home for some time until she is well established and house trained.

Hi again guys,

Picking up puppy this Friday! The excitement too much!

We plan to feed her a balanced diet (50/50) of a commercially bought BARF Food (Canine Country) and Raw Meaty Bones.

Just trying to figure out how much she will actually eat per day?

Most sites say to feed puppies 3-5% (Lets average it to 4%) of body weight. Now is that of her ideal ADULT weight or her ACTUAL weight? Adult dogs should be fed 2-3% of their body weight there after.

What is a Mini Bull's ideal/average final weight? Most sites are giving me an indication of 10kg based on the fact she weighed 2.2kg at 6 weeks of age.

Help is much appreciated.

Have also found this guideline...thoughts?

7-10 weeks 8 - 10% of bodyweight

10-16 weeks 7.5 - 8.5% of bodyweight

16-20 weeks 6.5 - 7.5% of bodyweight

20-24 weeks 5.5 - 6.5% of bodyweight

24-36 weeks 4.5 - 5.5% of bodyweight

36-56 weeks 3.5 - 4.5% of bodyweight

56-68 weeks 3.5%

68 weeks plus is adult maintenence at 2-3%

I would probably put this in the General or Puppy section as more people will see it.

Also don't change her diet straight over from what the breeder is giving, do it gradually or she will get an upset tum.

How exciting for you!!!! pics a must when the terror arrives!

When i bought my first one over 30 years ago i thought they were called English, now i know better, and anyone who puts their pups up with this name i steer clear of

1 more sleep to go!! The excitement in the house hold right now is intense!

I feel like we are about to bring home our second child! My partner is even more excited because she doesn't have to give birth to this one!

I may have gone a little overboard...but I really don't care!

Custom Dog Tag ("B" for Buffy. Wife was a huge fan of the show! Had it made in the same font as depicted on the show)
