Dryers

Recommended Posts

I need some help. I have entered my boy into the Ekka and to get him ready I need to get my hands on a dyer. I don't have the money to buy one outright, but was wondering if anyone would know if there is anywhere in Brisbane that I could hire one?

Cheers

Shame you arent in sydney, i have just bought a new one and kept the old liberty as a backup which i would have happily loaned you.

Perhaps try some of the mobile dog groomers in your area, there may be one who may hire or loan you one on their day off or something.

If not, check out ebay - my new one was under $250. Not a bad price and has so far proved to be a really good dryer.

Thank you so much for your kind offer. It is a shame I'm not in Sydney. Good idea re the mobile groomers. I have looked on EBay and can get one on my credit card but I would have to run it passed the OH and there are so many other expenses at the moment. ;)

Redrob - is there anyone in your breed you know who could help you out? :D

I'd offer but I've already got a houseful and one dryer.....wait a minute - what breed is it? If you are on a different day to me, I might be able to help  I'm on the 13th so I need my dryer on the 12th and perhaps before General Specials - if I'm really lucky!

Were you needing a dryer for the day itself? or prior to the day to get your BC ready?

It's just that Petwise (Macgregor and Cannin Hill) have onsite DIY hydrobaths and dryers etc available ...not sure if that would be of help?

Hose out your vacuum cleaner 's length of crinkle hose and hang it over the washing line to drip dry

When its dry, connect it back onto the cleaner.

Then put your vacuuum cleaner on reverse so it blows instead of sucks.

Thats what I used to do before I purchased a dryer

You will also find a couple of second hand dryers in here...
