BBNZ Posted November 17, 2007 Share Posted November 17, 2007 Just wondering if this is normal at all. I noticed after giving my dog a wash that her bum i.e. the hole is protruding. She hasn't gone to the toilet at all from yesterday evening until now. She doesn't seem to want to go to the toilet except to pee. Previously, she had problems with upset tummy and had soft stools for the week so we switched to chicken and rice. She also has bad breath when she burps. Is this normal? Should I consult a vet? She seems to be normal in every other aspect. Healthy Appetite, full of energy. Just not pooping and her butt is protruding. I have rung the vet but they close at 1 or 2pm. Jed Posted November 17, 2007 Share Posted November 17, 2007 Sounds as if she is constipated to me. Keep an eye on her, and see if she is straining. She'll probably do a huge pile later on.
