Glide For Dogs With Arthritis

I have several clients using it on their dogs with good success (also others on Joint Guard).

Alanglen - it's another joint supplement made by Parnell, slightly different to some in that it contains glucosamine, chondroitin and omega oils as well. They also have their own PSGAG injection called Zydex, which is the same concentration as Pentosan and Cartrophen.

ETA: The name of the product is actually "Glyde".

Peibie............do you get your Glyde online? If so, where do you get it and what price do you pay? I have looked at several sites and have seen prices ranging from $82 to $110! Thanks

I've just been told by my vet to put my girl onto this powder after finding out she has HD problems. We only started it last night, so I can't give any good results yet, but I'm glad to see others are using it and seeing good results.

I asked the vet about green lipped mussels and she said that was one of the main ingrediants in this powder, so we'll give it a go and see if it helps her at all.

I saw it on Value Vet Products for $74.28 (not including shipping), but I have never dealt with them, so I don't know what they are like. I am also interested in trying Glyde for my 13 year old whippet, I have been using Joint guard, which has helped her to a degree.

Thanks Trish, that is about $5 cheaper than the other sites I have seen, will save the link for next time, have already ordered through VetStop.

I have been using Joint Guard, for my puppy, but I really dont think it has made any difference. Our specialist has recomended Glyde so hopefully it will help.

Just wondering if you have seen any positive results since starting Glyde ?

Does Glyde have any taste or smell?I use Joint Guard for my two coz its flavorless and doesnt smell otherwise they dont like eating there tea.

It has a fishy smell i think, my dog loves it though, he licks the bowl afterward for residue

I think its what yuour dogs do well on - my guys have done brilliantly on Joint guard - my old boy moves well and bounces around like a puppy.

Rappie do you think there is any clinical difference between Glyde and Joint Guard?

Cheers,

Westiemum :coffee:

Trish
