Oops, I was wrong, Kepala is on the 11th and I will definitely have to miss that, as we'll be camping.

But, it means I can come to the Parade day! YAY! Something else to look forward too...I'm gonna come along and mess up everyone's grooming with cuddles, heheh, just kidding, I'll try and keep my distance...LOL

(will have to think about whether to bring Dakota or not, she'll probably pull my arm out of it's socket being surrounded by beautiful Sammies she can't play with)

Hi Pip1981

The National is extremely special so that is why it is every three years - you are welcome to come along in 2013

Snopaws is on the Money hehe on the 18th of April, there is a members comp in the morning and then an Open Parade after. This is for all the young dogs that are not yet Champions. Bindi and I will be there, I will only have "Sonnet" and his sisters and Bindi will be taking "Fletcher"... Snopaws "Bundy" will be there too wont he? You are more than welcome to come and mess up our grooming  We get about 50 Samoyeds at this show.

The Championship show is 8th August 2010, at KCC park, and we generally get around 100 Samoyeds entered.

If you do come to the Open show, make sure you come and say hi... I'll be running around like crazy as I am the assistant secretary of the club and playing photographer on the day. Look for Pink and Black hehe

Yah gotta agree with Kelza on that one.. Fletcher wont be protecting you at all, he'll be setting up a quiet room somewhere with candles and dinner for him and his favourite Aunty :)

Seriously Pip, we thought he was showing his love for Dakota on Sunday, you should see him around Kelza!!

Who is judging in August?

The Samoyed Club of Vic. website says that Mr. R. LOPASCHUK (Canada) is judging in August, not that I have any idea who that is...lol.

I am not 100% sure what breed he has, I do know he will be judging at the NSW Junior Kennel Club show and we have sub-contracted him to do our show.

SA is a Specialist Judge from the USA, The husband is doing the SA Speciality and the Wife is Judging the Spitz Breed Club Show the same day. The SA show is in June (2 weeks before the National) it is going to be a busy month :)

Off the topic abit here, well not really,

I am trying to help someone find judges for some shows up this way. Must have multiple groups inc Utility, and must not have judged up this way for a very long time, or have not judged this way at all.

PM me if anyone has any ideas.

Hi everyone,

I can't make the 18th April, but I will try and get to the August Championship Show.

And bring Simba along for you all to meet him :flame:

Just to let you all know Simba's shoulders seem to be improving, the vet gave him another cartrophen shot today,

and he has another one next Friday. The vet also gave me a pamphlet on "Sasha's blend". Has anyone used this?

Is it any good?

Cheers guy's,

Good news about Simba!

Sashas blend isnt bad stuff at all, I tried it once and Lestat wanted to roll in it rather then eat it :mad (smells very fishy) but there are other people I know who use it and swear by it.

Hey guys,

hope to get a Samoyed soon, but it's hard to find a breeder with puppies available.

My question - I notice that you've mentioned that girl Samoyeds shed their hair twice a year vs one for the boys. Does this mean twice as much hair in the carpets/twice as much grooming?

Cheers!
