SparkyTansy Posted September 23, 2011 Share Posted September 23, 2011 My mum's first weimaraner was from a registered breeder - but it was back when it was quite acceptable to advertise in the local paper (some frown upon it now but I dont see much issue with it)... since then, all our dogs have been registered, however, none of them before Spartan were purchased "papered" because there was no rule back then that you had to register all the puppies from a litter.
