Thanks for asking Sujo :D

It went really well, tiring tho as we had to drive 2 hours each way , but it was totally worth it !

Heres a post summery of todays visit to meet Miah. Im a bit into astrology and astronomy , so today has another special meaning too.. tonight is a new moon, and her name means 'Moon' (the reason is in her blog) and new moons means new beginnings ! :D

Oh and her breeder really appreciated the gift we took her ! (Belgium Chocolates)

What a brilliant day we had today!

Nice sunny (extremely hot) weather for our drive down the coast.

Remy is absolutely perfect. He is quiet, calm and loved cuddles and the little toy we took for him.

I am even more in love with him! For the first time today I saw the excitement building in my OH and 3yo son - it was so great to see.

The breeder is so nice and has kindly said we can go back in another two weeks to see him again. The photo is actually courtesy of the breeder as unfortunately after all of the cuddles etc it really was getting too hot for little Rem and we decided to take some next time to give him a break.

We also met Remy's mum and dad and they are the most placid well behaved dogs I have seen in a long time - which is great!

My son cried and cried when it was time to leave which was really sweet - he has previously been quite afraid of dogs both big and small so it was quite a relief to see him interact with all of the dogs and pups today without any fear.

Jules your little girl is so gorgeous - love the pic!! How adorable. :D

How long before you get to bring Remy home?

Our breeder said we are welcome to come back too, which we might try too, its just its such a long drive.. but Miah is worth it !

The photo of Remy is gorgeous !!!

Thank you also for the compliment of Miah x

Jules & Remy your puppies are adorable! Now that you have met them the countdown begins for you ????. How exciting!

We also have 4 weeks to wait as he can come home on 13th Feb. As this falls on a Wednesday we may need to wait until the Saturday 16th though as our breeder is 1 1/2 hours drive away and with working it is not doable.

I am not sure if we will know which puppy is ours though as the breeder may not decide for a few weeks yet. I am happy to wait and trust her judgement as to which puppy would suit out family best when the time comes. With 3 boys in the litter it will be interesting to see if I get a feel for which one is ours ????.

Who else is madly researching training methods, brushing up on crate & toilet training techniques, looking at puppy schools, and spending far too much money on puppy shopping? I feel like its taking over my life at the moment. I think people are sick of hearing me talk about it!

Thanks Sujo! Definitely in countdown mode in this house at the moment.

You really don't have long to go either! Can't wait to see pics of your little one. :D

Are you going for a visit anytime soon?

Oh my goodness I am exactly the same with researching and puppy shopping. My OH has taken to hiding our iPad so I stop!!

Puppy school is my biggest worry at the moment - seems as though a lot of the places where I want to go start their classes the week before Remy comes home which means waiting at least 4 weeks until the next one starts - too long for my liking. I'm sure it will figure itself out but I am so concerned with proper socialisation and starting training early! :o

People are definitely sick of hearing me talk about it all - that's why I have turned to my fellow dol'ers. At least everyone on here understands the excitement! :D

One more sleep for me to pick up my furbaby !!! thumbsup1.gif

And I couldn't agree with you any more Remy_BC. I have spent the last week constantly researching and trying to prep as much as I can before the puppy arrives, though I think I may have overloaded myself with too much info as it is all too overwhelming now since some informations re toilet training, crate training, early pup socialisation, feeding raw seem to be very conflictingshrug.gif. Also, puppy shopping and looking for puppy goods on ebay has become a serious addiction...shhh.gif!

The puppy pre-school I want to enrol my pup in starts their course again in 2nd of feb which is when my pup would be around 11-12weeks old. I honestly wanted to start socialise and training earlier at 10weeks but not sure if 11weeks is fine also?

Oh how exciting dogsforjane!

I bet it will be a hard nights sleep tonight.

Yep I am totally overloaded with info and you are right there are definitely some contradictions out there! Just going to try my best I suppose.

That's pretty much exactly my situation - I'm pretty sure 11 weeks will be fine, there is not much else I can do except socialising him with other things like people etc and starting some basic training myself. :o

Hope this day flies by for you! Make sure to post some pics. :D
