I am so happy for you, I know how long you have been waiting for this litter.

You know now that Cynda will also be pregnant and you will have 8 from each

Kimba is looking swell this morning  I have started putting her in a crate at night as she is already finding it difficult to jump onto my bed. Will have to take some more photos later. She is quite big already. I'm sure she wasn't thiis big with her first litter :scared:

:lollipop: Lyndsay, milk already. Maybe she knows she has a dozen+ puppies to feed

Kimba is getting bit picky with her food now so I am hand feeding her already :( She is looking little more 'swell' this morning than yesterday. Hopefully will get some photo's later...

You can add us to the list. Confirmed by ultrasound yesterday

Finnish Lapphund litter, due end of Nov (around 28th)

Pic taken on Sunday - almost at week 4. She's rather hairy (they had to clip a bit on her tummy!) but she is lower in the tummy then previously. Will take a pic each week :provoke:

You're brave! LOL

I'm organising everything now....so much to do!

And to add to the fun, all the relatives are rocking up at my place at Christmas. These babies will certainly get some socialisation!

id love a whelping room like that! i usually whelp in the front TV room (usually at night, so everyone is in bed) and then move the whole new tribe up to our bedroom when she is done.

I do it this way so hubby can sleep and I can whelp, msn, FB, watch TV, eat, toilet mumma dog and cat nap through the whelping without disturbing the rest of the house

A friend in the US has a Cairn litter due on the 11th so we were joking wed be whelping via MSN together!

This is a maiden litter for this bitch so i always a tad more nervous with maidens as you really dont know what your up for!

This will be Cynda's maiden litter too. Kimba first litter (Cynda) went horrible. Night before while Kimba was in first stage labour, my ex(kids dad) lost the plot on boose and drugs and smashed the house up and assaulted me and the kids. He also kicked Kimba in the belly when she went to confort him. Cops come and took hom and he hasn't been back since (my choice not his) anyway I was in town next morning(13th Jan 09) getting restraining orders and my son rings to tell me Kimba is in full blown labour but is having trouble. So race back, friend here that was helping said she is having trouble so up the vets we go. One massive pup stuck so c-section was done. Unfortunately we lost the one that was stuck but Kim had 4 beautiful little bubba's.

So I now might go elective c-section with Kim as she is quite a dainty little thing....

I remember reading about that at the time - what an awful time. Hopefully all will go smoothly this time around.
