There is more of the patterned fabric on the inside and a pocket at the back inside. It just recently came to England with us and survived all the rain, keeping my stuff dry. I've got the brown and orange one. I wanted the black and red one but everywhere here were sold out and only had a few of the browns left so thats what I got. OH is quite happy to carry it around too which is good.
