How did so much attention get focussed on one county (read shire) animal control agency's adoption policy (not even the Board of Supervisors, and a proposed ban only on adoption, not on ownership), while bigger targets, like the Vic ban on ownership, have a hard time mounting public support. Unfortunately people just don't have the same passionate response when it's only pit bulls targeted. It's a real shame, but it's still great to see such a reaction.
