We have had the arrival of 7 heathy Soft Coated Wheatens. Pups are all feeding happily while mum rests.

There are 5 boys & 2 girls just in time for Mothers Day

Edited to add an extra boy to the litter

how are the whippets?

any sign of them?

we dont have anything going on here....

and yes it seems to be dragging on and on...

today is her due date, how DARE she go over it!

does she not know i have things to do on the weekend!

the most weve had is a teeny bit of nesting....

she does like her box, covered, and a lil bit of digging, but thats it... 20 seconds later shes happy her nest is well designed..

I can't use nesting as a sign for Crissy. She's a 365 days of the year bed rearranger!!!

Ooohhh yes i do sorry! :o

We had 4 babies born 17th May (not bad for an 11 year old sire and an almost 7 year old bitch).

Baby boy number 1 born with a cleft palate  The first one ive ever had.

Baby boy number 2 born with stiff hind legs and breathing difficulties. He died shortly after.

Baby number 3 is a healthy blue and white parti girl

Baby number 4 is a healthy blue brindle with white trim boy

So, not a terribly successful litter, but a precious girl for me and a precious boy for Julie who is looking after my girl in QLD.

This litter was very important because Scarlett is the only Whippet i have left after losing most of our property to fire last year. She is my foundation and this will be her last litter.

So i am praying my baby girl stays healthy. Ill post pics when i have some good ones!

I am so excited because i havent had dogs for over a year and not only do i have a Whippy baby joining me soon, i am also waiting for another special baby to be born, fingers and toes crossed! .... :D

C'mon WIG, I know you have some news! :)
