Police arrested the 16-year-old boy yesterday after a search of his house. They allege he killed at least three dogs. The remains of three dogs were found in vacant block in Canberra's north yesterday afternoon. The boy has been charged with aggravated cruelty to an animal causing death. He is expected to face the ACT Children's Court today Absolutely sickening. What is the world coming to? Sad thing is, this kid will more than likely get off with a slap on the wrist. Who know's what he'll be capable of when he's older... R.I.P. to the poor dogs he killed. xxx Link to comment

Although, it is not unusual for an ACT magistrate to remand them in custody, it is *really* unusual for an ACT magistrate to slap such perps with anything like a credible sentence... so I can't wait to see the results of the sentencing hearing - not. I hope this kid doesn't get off lightly. If he can kill animals and do the things he did to them, what is the chance he will grow up to and kill people? What is the world coming to??? Link to comment
