They aren't roly poly puppies. If they were they would have been sold reasonably easy. They are tang style (look at Christina in my petrescue dogs). One is not pure so she has more than one male on her property.

You know what made me sad about this last night? Her owner gave up a 15 year old dog! I can understand 10 week old pups you can no longer care for but an old adult dog who I am assuming she has had for a while? How? Why? No point speculating I guess - at least they are all safe now and will go on to amazing homes.

This is your legacy Ams whether you like it, wanted it or not. You are responsible for saving lives and giving hope and we love you for it!

(yes I'm having a mushy day)

They are in very good condition. No photos of mum just yet. She is still freaked when I go into the pen. I did get get some pats in last night and got to tuck her into bed but then had to pull out my charm again today for a repeat performance. She is very stressed at the moment and I think a camera in her face may be just a little too much for her.

eta She is in good condition too but is causing herself some injuries as she tries to get out.

Part of her stress is she can hear the puppies in the house but I just can't take the risk of putting them with her as they need socialisation and if she starts guarding them it disadvantages them all. It breaks my heart listening to her and I've spent a fair bit of time sitting on cold concrete talking to her to calm her down.

Two of them are "pure" tang dogs. Just the girl does not seem pure her colour and head shape is wrong.

Mum broke my heart last night. She was barking her head off so I went up and dragged an old mattress into the pen. I lay on it and she came up and snuggled in. Slowly I was able to put rugs over her until she stopped shaking and then she let me get up and go to bed. Had to do it twice more when she'd get up for a widdle and couldn't wrap herself back in her blankies.
