boxagirl Posted October 1, 2012 Share Posted October 1, 2012 Most of the boxers I have known (including my two) are picky eaters, and keeping weight on them is a struggle (lots of posts in the boxer forum about this problem too!) however, Bondi who is now nearly 10 has turned into a little piggy! hankdog Posted October 1, 2012 Share Posted October 1, 2012 My boy is a "cosmopolitan bulldog ". Cross between British, French and other stuff. Looks and snorts a bit like a pig and totally eats like one. Here have a tablet, no problem got another one. Gave him a bone in a porcelain bowl the other day, flat face couldn't get bone out of bowl. Luckily I was nearby so went to investigate the grating noise. Yep, he was starting to chew on the bowl. When he's finished a meal he puts his paw on the bowl so he can hold it down and lick out every last crumb and then flips it over and checks underneath. My Tibetan x is a fussy little man, one day fresh liver treats will be good for training, the next only meatballs... The oldest one is a total food snob, never eats biscuits in front of me would rather starve and only eat them when she is absolutely starving. The puppy will eat everything and anything and makes whiney noises when she sees her pink plate being pulled out to be filled up. She inhales everything and needs to be supervised as i'm worried she'll choke, I've never seen anything so small so food obsessed!
