  • RN
  • Finish obedience at a club... I don't care if this takes all year
  • Make sure he's happy, and stop training whenever he's not
  • Compete in at least one agility comp (in beginner lol)
  • Teach him to tolerate being touched in all circumstances
  • Help him learn that dogs are a-ok and that I will always protect him from the scary things in life

Rudy Soho

  • Complete basic obedience
  • Work on foundation agility
  • Crate game him
  • 100% LLW
  • Accredit him as a therapy dog

The Two-Bit Trainer

  • Don't get sick again!
  • Be calm and protective of the fluffy butts
  • Walk and/or train the dogs every day, rain hail or shine
  • Continue on with dog business - be successful by the end of the year!
  • NO MORE DOGS I MEAN IT GEEZ

Looking forward to achieving at least one of these by the end of next year lol!

RUBY

* RE title

* Need to gain her confidence back on the solid jump after she hit it lightly (no injury, just a scare which has turned into a solid jump phobia now. The princess doesn't take much to get her confidence shaken!)

* Keep working towards our UD title if we can get the jump thing under control. A pass would be nice  (we've been close, but no cigar!)

* Work on her soft mouth for retrieving and perhaps enter some more retrieving trials if I feel confident enough.

* Have continued success at Retrieving Ability Tests if more are held this year. Depending on how many are held, perhaps our NRA title.

MILLIE

* RE title

* Get her better prepared for UD

* Some passes towards her JDM title

* ADX title

* Have continued success at Retrieving Ability Tests if more are held this year. Depending on how many are held, perhaps our NRA title.

PIPPA (my new contestant for 2013!)

* Get her ready for CCD/Novice obedience

* Get her ready for Novice Agility/Jumping

I'm in no rush to get her in the ring for obedience and agility, though. We'll enter when we enter :)

Hey Emm I would not push Scooter to do his ET in 2013 after his op as you will need to do at least 5 months training to build a small breed dog up ready to complete 20k's but concentrate on the other stuff with him.

Don't give up on the rest of the training, Stay calm & relax at all times :D

give me call about the other training

Fun fun and more fun!!! Loving training right now. Would love to get back into the trial ring in 2013 and see where it takes us! :) Also wishing lots of super Malinois puppy vibes for Wisdom some time later next year.

ETA: I would love to add some titles to the end of Wiz's name next year, but I'm not at all in a hurry so I'm not going to list them here, happy to wait and see what we can do together next year as a team :)

I'll play this game :)

Barkly

  • Agility trial much more than I did this year
    • Get his ADM and JDM titles

    [*]Start trialling in RallyO

    • Aiming for RA

    [*]Start Trialling in Obedience

    • Aiming for CDX

In summary - turn Elspan Barkly Blue JDX ADX >>>>> Elspan Barkly Blue JDM ADM RA CDX (yes, I'm overly fond of titles :()

New Puppy

  • Lots and lots of awesome agility foundation work
  • Start obedience and RallyO trialling
    • Aiming for CD and RN before 12 months old

Me

  • Stop taking my eyes off Barkly in agility runs
  • Become a better trainer, handler and instructor
  • Go to lots of trials with Emma and the gang
  • Make more use of the tent and camping gear!
  • Enjoy weekends away trialing

Aim high I say! :o

(The hardest is going to be getting Emma in a tent occasionally)

I just really really really need to pull my finger out to find a club to join and STICK WITH IT! I am a shocking procrastinator.

I want to have Bundy a lot more motivated and really enjoying training, and cementing our obedience more. Wouldn't mind giving RallyO a burl either...

Ohh and ET would be a bit of fun, but I wouldn't know where to begin with that one...

Kenzie

Really want to get her RA

Would love to get CCD (this is as much about me as her!)

Maybe ET

Would love to have the confidence to take her in to an agility trial

Learn more and maybe practice towards something in DWD

Just get enough focus off her to feel really confident with her off-lead around distractions

Hamish

Anything!!! Any training would be good!

I would like to try and aim for him to do either/both RN and CCD

We'll get started on some foundation agility work, I think he'd like that!

Some tricks, Kenzie learnt everything and he's just started shaking hands (he's just gorgeous the galoomph that he is!)!

The handler just needs to find a bit more time, inspiration and technique!!!

ETA...

I'd also like to get Hamish on some sheep I think there's a lot of natural instinct in thelittle boy!!!

And I'd definitely like for him and I to become a bit better of a handling team in the show ring - that's training for both of us (and it seems so much harder than the other things I've listed here!!!).

In 2013 I am not going to be too ambitious because Zora and I will be having part of the year off for a litter ( :D ).

Here are my goals:

-Finish RN Title

-Aim for RA (maybe even RE)

-Enter CCD

-Get ready for trialling in agility early 2014

Lastly this is a BIG maybe...

-Enter a UG Field Trial

Jazz:

Get her back in condition after her litter an finish her JD and AD titles.

Possibly JDX depending on how long JD takes

Complete tarted B sheep title

A pass or 2 in intermediate A sheep

Have a go at advanced A ducks

Maybe a rally trial or 2?

As yet unnamed puppy:

Have fun - this is the big 1!

Play about with some shows for socialising

Lots of foundations in obedience, agility and herding - keep it fun!!

Possibly instinct cert and PT at end of year, if not at least Instinct cert

Aim to be working at a good level in obedience/rally and obedience by the end of the year with intent of having a go at CCD/Rally Novice at BC Nationals early in 2014.

Of course all of this with puppy requires my 1 and only girl to make the grade and hang around :)

And what about Piper and Rally-O - go on I think you should .

No training goals for either of mine for 2013. All I really want is one 24 hour period without a lame Kenz :(.

As for the old girl Ness, she can keep doing as she is and enjoy her semi-retirement. We may try for her Track 3 if she is still up to it when tracking resumes.

Ok here goes...

Zamba - nothing to achieve, but keep giving her a chance to train just because she loves it so much. At 13 years old she gets to sit on the couch and sleep in the bedroom these days. Special privileges reserved for a dog who has spent her life being loud and very busy, and can now finally enjoy some quiet years.

Pasha - I would love to get him into an RN trial or two, and possibly a CCD trial or two. But it will depend how he is going. I would also love to get him enjoying the beach calmly, and able to do training at agility while keeping his head.

Elvis: coming out of retirement to give Rally O a go. Something to keep his brain working but not stress his body. We are aiming for atleast his RN, possibly even RA depending on how we go with novice.

Tinny: continue having fun at tricks class. Maybe give Rally training a go :).

Harri: Attend at least one Earthdog day. He has been going to tricks class with my Mum the last few weeks (i had been going with him a few months before) and has been working really well for her, so continue on with that next year.

Luna: if given the all clear physically we will begin Agility training in the new year. I also am aiming for at least her instinct test (herding) and to attend many more herding days. Edited to ad: I'll just be happy to have her around other dogs and for her to be relaxed around other dogs now.

Me: get off my ass and actually train with the dogs other than when we are at class/ club :o.

I would like 2013 to involve:

Lily: get her Australian confirmation title.(I think that's it) I'm still new with.my three shows lol.

I would love to get Cindy to give obedience a go this year! And I'm not sure what else there is for domino to do but we will find him a goal Haha

Training goals for Reilly.

Finish Grade 4 Club Obedience

Enter a CCD trial

It's not exactly a title checklist to rival the others posted, but I'm going to try not to expect much (and definitely not expect a pass!), keep it fun and casual, and hope some of the hard work we've been doing pays off.
