Bindis :(

We had bindis in our lawn when we first bought our house in Gympie, there were brown seeds everywhere so O/H got out the vacuum cleaner and vacuumed the lawn, worked fine

We then killed the plants with feed and weed.

For my backyard I just spray them a couple of times in spring. There are none on the slipping track where I take them running.

I've had to spray the yard this year too.

Then I scooped them all up with the lawn mower.

I think its unacceptable, however, out at Broken Hill they used to say that it would toughen the dogs up, and they have to walk on the road anyway.

Poor puppies.

Well Zeus got his back feet booties and after a minute of weird walking he's running around the yard like a pro -- and no bindis!

Will have to see about posting the video I made of him wearing them for the first time outside! :D

Has anyone tried a light spray of cooking oil before going out?

I have heard (from the US where they call it PAM) that it stops the burrs from sticking to the coat, but I have never tried it myself.
