Fantastic news, Hope you and Sumo do equally well tomorrow :D

Willow looks like she has had a big very tiring day.

Sumo's first show today and he won Baby of Breed (beat his sister, although it was very close!) and then went on to win Baby of Group! :cheer: I am so so so happy! We are waiting to go in for Baby of Show, will report back later :)

Nope not mental, just enjoying it :) Hope you do well tomorrow as well. How did you both handle the day?

Yes I think I might be hooked now  We both had a great day. Sumo is awesome he takes everything in his stride, all the new sights, smells, sounds, plus he met a million new people and dogs too. Everyone loved him and they all wanted cuddles! Which was fine by him. We are both pretty pooped now though, he's just gobbled down his dinner and has crashed out on the kitchen floor. I don't think I'll be far off bed either. Thanks for the congratulations :)

Today we had a bit of a puppy warming, few friends, lots of sausages, some puppy soccer and lots and lots of cuddles.

Little dude even got some cool presents from my lovely friends, this being one of them.

Totally pooped here now too.

We've spent the last two days at the Rottie National, and Willow is also pooped beyond pooped. She wasn't being shown, we just went along to see her breeders and meet her Dad for the first time. Her Mum placed very well with a great critique (from the little bits I heard), tomorrow her Dad is on. Not sure if we are going to make it.

Awww Gus! A puppy warming, how cool!

Dory I didn't realise the Rott specialty was over two days, wow there must be so many entries! Do they do different classes on different days? Or have different judges? Bet you've loved seeing them all! :)

It goes over three days, Cassie. The Babies were all on Friday, Junior to Veteran Bitches were today and tomorrow is the Junior to Veteran Boys with the Specials. It's a big weekend! Same Judge all weekend, a specialists from Germany. It's been very interesting and he has been pretty tough to please.

It has been really good seeing all these dogs. Lots of nice stuff out there.

I have a lot of fitness to achieve before I do a speciality show with Willow.

Good luck for tomorrow!! What a fantastic start to his show career.

Three days wow! That is one massive specialty! Good luck to them all  When you say the judge has been hard to please, has he been expressing a disliking for any dogs at all? Or not awarding any classes? I hope Willow's Dad does well :) Glad her Mum had a good critique too!

Hard to please when giving out Excellent gradings. He knows what he likes. :) I think he has been very fair on his critiques of the dogs. (Some may disagree. LOL) And has been trying to impress and educate those present on what is good/great and what to watch out for and pointing out why he chose some dogs over others.

At Rott Specialties you aren't just placed, you're critiqued and then graded (good, very good or excellent) against the standard. You go for the Excellent grading, placing is cream. :)

I hope Willows Dad does well, he's got plenty of competition though!
