Dotdashdot, Nala is gorgeous! No wonder she is getting group wins!

Inevitablue, what a lovely balanced ACD! Congratulations on her great wins against older competition :)

Asalei, well done on your first home bred champion  It is always a fantastic feeling :)

Lots of other gorgeous babies in this thread too :D

Long time since I have checked in here... we ended up picking our girl and she has been following in her mother's footsteps brilliantly :D Reija (aka Ukkonen Sirius Impact) picked up 2x Baby in Show and another 3x Baby in Group All Breeds as well as 1x Baby in Show Working Dog Specialty. Then in her first week into Minor this weekend she picked up 3 for 3 Minor in Groups one of which she went on to get Minor in Show :D And to top it off she managed an 11 point Best of Breed and an 8 point BCC (& runner up BOB) :D

Best of all she is an awesome little snuggle puppy :D

Thanks Mirawee, what a gorgeous girl she's maturing into!

Pointers rule, is Alex related to a Bracco called Bruno by any chance? Nala's breeder was campaigning him in Tassie for a while for HiPoint and no doubt Nala met him as a baby pup. I saw lots of photos of him on FB and I must say the breed intrigues me!

From all the posts on FB that I saw featuring him, I thought he must be awesome.

We had a show today, I got minor puppy Dalmatian, but lost out on the Bitch Challenge. I did get to run in for RUBIG though which was a nice treat :)

On Saturday, Alex was awarded Best Exhibit in Group- giving him his final points for his Aust Ch title.

Today, my Husband took him to Clermont Show Society and he went one step further and was awarded Best Exhibit in Show!!!!!!!

He turns ten months old tomorrow...

My homebred baby Dare finished off her time in baby this past weekend by taking out her 7th and 8th baby in groups. Super proud of her, its no mean feat considering shes a rare breed!

I put 3 pups in show homes from this litter - between them they have won 16 classes in group, 1 class in show and multiple 1st placings in sweepstakes thumbsup1.gif And they turn 6 months old tomorrow :)

Well done Poocow. I was lucky enough to see Dare at the Grafton shows, she's beautiful.

(I was the girl who had NFI what I was doing with the Aussie bitch pup, my friend had 2 funerals to attend so I offered to handle her girl seeing as she had paid)

I think i'll stick with my wash and wear dals, so much easier :)

You handled your friends Aussie fine :) They are a fun breed. I like having something to groom - though some show days I question my sanity laugh.gif

Thank you, it was nice to have her to run as well, seeing as who I was up against in the dal ring! I enjoy watching dogs being groomed, it's quite interesting :)

Just found this! :D Further to RV's post, my current Rising Star "Butch", Ch Astrelis Dawn Raider, has gone from strength to strength after exiting the baby class in January this year - he gained his title the day he turned 10 months old and since his baby wins he has won 12 Minor/Puppy in Groups, 2 Puppy in Shows, Best Exhibit in Group at an open show and most exciting of all - Runner Up in Group in quality competition last weekend under a Gundog specialist judge! He is currently DOL's #1 Brittany Rising Star, #2 Brittany (Breed Challenge) and #3 Brittany (Show Dog Comp.) nationally... he will be 12 months old next month!Butch is by far the naughtiest dog in the world - lucky he's good looking, LOL :angeldevil: Looking forward to more wins in the future with this boy, and thanks again to RV for allowing us to be owned by him

Looks like 2014 will be a great year :)I have two 5 1/2 month old rising stars in the ring from my first litter. One is my adorable Kite, Astrelis Dawn Flyer, she is very fun to show but a bit naughty. The other one is her brother Butch, Astrelis Dawn Raider, owned and shown by my friend Claire. Butch has had a fantastic start to his career taking out 8 Baby in Groups and 1 Baby in Show (Open & Ch Shows)

Lovely catching up with all the rising stars! Some very talented pups in this bunch

Poo-Fong is doing an amazing job with the handsome and cheeky Butch, making me a very proud breeder :D

My rising star is only shown very occasionally as we have been focusing on field work with her first field trial this weekend just gone. She is 1/4 of the way to her title and has been a lot of fun to show.

The last show I had pictures taken was the Western Classic where she went RUBOB :)

So happy to announce that Nala earnt her first points today at ten months and 2 days, and not only that but she won BOB as well! Totally blew me away, not only beating the bitch who beat her yesterday, but the BOB boy from yesterday as well. She also got puppy in group!

No ribbon photos yet, it was raining and cold and we hightailed it as soon as soon as general specials was over!

here is a slightly blurry photo of us running for Puppy in show...she was so over the wet and cold by this time, we would turn the corner of the triangle but she'd want to keep running straight into her crate!

Congratulations on your first points and a fringie to boot thumbsup1.gif

I heard Kempsey was wet, glad I had a dry weekend at my show!

Dare is nearly 3/4 of the way to her title. She picked up a Minor in Group and a 2nd in 6-12 sweeps this weekend :)
