Everyone's worst nightmare and why do we have to be scared to simply walk our dogs along a street. It's the law to leash your dog in a public place, for gosh sake. Haven't these people heard of secure fencing and gates and how to shut a gate! I'm over well cared for dogs whose owners do the right thing being attacked by unrestrained dogs.

Sending good recovery wishes to you, Maddie and Stan.

Every dog owner's worst nightmare. So very sorry that your beautiful dogs were attacked and I hope their recovery is swift. Please report this to both the police and Council rangers. Owners of dangerous dogs need to be held accountable.

O no, poor Maddie and Stan, awful thing to happen. I have never met your dogs HazyWal but I love it when you post about the stuff they do, I love the photo of them...the beautiful Maddie with her frangipani. and Stan looking soooo cool.

I hope they are doing ok this morning, hugs to them both.

Stan and Maddie were attacked today by a Staffy and a Cattle Dog. Maddie is on morphine awaiting surgery to her torn shoulder and Stan is nursing his bite wounds that thankfully don't require stitches. Why can't people make sure their dogs are contained? My dogs are muzzled, they couldn't fight if they wanted to, why can't I just walk my dogs?

Oh no, that's so awful. It must have been terrifying for Stan, Maddie & you.

I feel ill just thinking about it.

Sending you cyber hugs, and best wishes for an uneventful recovery for Maddie and Stan.

I just saw this HazyWal. Jesus Christ how terrifying for the 3 of you. I'm in shock.......I will pm you. I can easily come down & sit with you or do anything that need doing. No trouble at all Just let me know k. You & your poor greys. Bloody horrific & unfair when Stan & Maddie can't even defend themselves. I'm livered....Can only imagine how you must feel. OMG, poor Stan and Maddie and poor you, utterly horrific and completely unprovoked in any way. It takes a hell of a lot out of you when you have to cope with this, there's a shock factor as well as the awful distress, my thoughts are with you, it would have been so terrifying and when there are two large dogs, it's impossible to manage, you get one off and the other's still going ...

Please contact the council and the police as soon as you can, these people have to pay your vet bills but these dogs are dangerous and must be stopped.

Hugs to you HazyWal.

How terrifying . I have been bailed up by a dog walking Maggie and that was my worst nightmare so can't even imagine how it felt to have them attacked like that

**hugs** and fingers paws crossed for a quick recovery and hope this doesn't stop them enjoying their walks

It is becoming harder to walk our dogs in safety. I hope yours recover quickly and your council rangers act with speed on these dogs and their owner.I find it ironic in a horrible way that authorities insist on greyhounds being muzzled.
