Hi Jed,

I haven't visited here for a long time.

A couple of "special" dogs of ours, and indeed, non-furred acquaintances have passed since your incident.

We have a couple more preparing to take flight.

We also have some new kids on the block.

And we, as we are sure you do, look forward to a better future and.......

A re-acquaintance of old friends at the bridge in the sky when it is our turn to travel.

Hugs to you.

You are frequently in our thoughts, along with the marvellous tales of TBCSITW.

Best wishes,

Bob & Erica

Hugs, Bob and Erica. Good to see you here.

He was a dag, that Best Cocker Spaniel in the World.

More dogs come, and we love them too, but we still miss the old ones. That's life, they weren't meant to live too long, because each one has so much to show us.

I half remember a poem I read in an English dog magazine, as a child

"There's a new dog lies on the parlour rug,

Where the old dog used to lie.

A dog with a short white curly coat

and a brown patch over his eye.

Oh, the new dog is a faithful chap

and earns his daily bread

But sometimes I see the old dog,

Silently asking me why"

Jed I will never forget what happened to you and your dogs. It's permanently engraved into my memory.

I admire you so much for getting through all that you have. I can't begin to comprehend what it must have been like for you,

RIP to your wonderful pack waiting for you on the other side.

Jed am hoping that your physical hurts are better. We will never forget our loved dogs and I am sure yours will all be waiting on the Bridge when it is your time.

I always appreciated your help with my various questions and now, from the other side of the world, (with a DOL breeder's rehome ex-champ boy by my side) I wish you well and want you to know I will never forget you.

It only seems like yesterday when the news came through. Am sure they are all doing well at Rainbow Bridge and still with you in spirit - especially Magnus. Hope it gets a little easier each day.

You are one of the strongest, most inspirational people I know. Not because of what you went through that night, and since then, but by how your spirit has continued.

TBCSITW and Little Evie are merrily hunting those smurfs as we speak. They have a lab set up and are experimenting with awesome ways to feed those who newly arrive.

Always here for you.

Phillipa
