Grumpette....... I LOVE all your photos. Making me Rotti clucky again....

They get in your blood, but they benefit from interacting with other breeds as well. So SC there is hope yet. :D

Megan............................... I will be back

I had never even considered a rotti as a dog for me. After years of looking at these wonderful dogs I started doing some research, and you know what? They are the dog for me :D When Fleming departs (not for a few years yet I hope) I'll be putting my name on a waiting list

Yay a convert! Come on over to the dark side (dark as in black and tan)! Your life will never be the same!

I'd better post some photos in grumpette's absence!

Neo - proof that sometimes he doesn't have a ball in his mouth!

A common look on Nova's face when she and Bruce play (mind you, Bruce DOES have a hold of her tail...)

My darling Enya in one of her favourite positions - will always miss this girl - Nova's grandma

I do believe my work here is done..... again.... for now...... :D

If I didn't already have 4 dogs... I so miss having a Rotti... *sigh*

Zeddy (who will be 15 this Thursday) is half Rotti... so I'm sorta kinda still living with one... lol!

If you look really hard, you CAN see some Rotti in there...

I'm only 5' - Neo weighs almost as much as I do :)

It's definitely less about physical strength and all about the mental attitude with a Rottweiler. I'm just a shorty too.

If you set them up from the start, they respond VERY well to a stern, "OI!" :scold:

The key is to develop your "rotty voice" :D

It scares everything, not just naughty dogs!

You only need that voice for the girls I've found... most of the boys are big sooky la-la's. My last boy (Connor) would actually wee if you raised your voice at him... but we never had to really, as he was such a sweet natured thing...
